Tsukasa and Kagami are talking when their father comes in to ask them if they are done with their homework. We are then shown how both of them go about studying through two separate panels. Kagami is very diligent, while Tsukasa wakes up late and goes to sleep early. Eventually, Konata and Miyuki come over for a study group as well. When they get back to school their teacher asks them how their break was.

The group goes to the arcade afterwards. Konata very skillfully uses the crane machine to get a plushie on her first try. Kagami decides to give it a try, but fails numerous times. Konata plays a music game with Tsukasa, but Tsukasa can’t keep up. Inside, many men are losing in a fighting game. On the other side of all these losers is Konata. At shool, their teacher gets a phone call from Konata. She wonders if she is sick, but Konata is just busy with fighting games.

At school, Konata is packing all of her books into her bag. Kagami doesn’t believe she will do well on the next day’s test by trying to cram on the last night. The next day they all take the test. Kagami doesn’t do bad, and when she looks to see what Konata made, she realizes she just copied off of her.

Later the group is stuck at a bus stop having a discussion. Once again in the classroom, Miyuki talks to Tsuakasa and Konata about her fear of dentists. Konata turns the conversation into an anime with her imagination. Later, Konata discusses the differences between an anime and drama cd with Kagami. At a resturaunt, Kagami and Tsukasa are very amused with the funny face Konata makes. She shows it to Miyuki when she comes and they all laugh again.

Back in the classroom, Konata talks about manga with Tsukasa. Kagami comes in so they can go home together, but Konata says she has work. While they are walking home, Tsukasa and Kagami try to figure out what kind of work Konata would have. When they ask her in class she tells them that it is a cosplay job.

In this week’s Lucky channel, Akira is very unmotivated about playing some of the scenes from the show. Minoru tries to be enthusiastic about it.

For the ED, we are shown the door while the group does karoke again, but this time we see Minoru go in to serve drinks.

Preview: It’s kind of hard to describe the previews since its just random stuff happening anyways ;o

Impression:

Wow, this week’s lucky star was a lot better. I did enjoy the first episode, but it just wasn’t what I expected. Maybe coming in this week knowing what to expect, I could appreciate it more. With that said, there were a lot more scenes this week and A LOT of anime references. From the top of my head I can think of the Keroro Gunso plushie, a Shuffle wallscroll, and the Suzumiya Haruhi song. I think I laughed a lot more this episode as well. The humor was more fitting to me. I loved the panels thing in the beginning of the episode too. I thought it was really unique.
