The war between the two factions continues, and Nagasumi becomes a target for both of them. Mawari saves Nagasumi with a team of girls, and Iinchou helps him escape. When inside one of the school’s rooms with the group of girls, Nagasumi thanks them for saving him, but Mawari tells him that it is his fault this is happening. San and Luna are watching from the school roof, and San suggests that they stop this. Of course, Luna has no intention of doing so. Nagasumi continues to get chased, but he finally finds a place to hide right outside the school grounds. He looks up to see Saru, who tells Nagasumi that it is up to him to stop this.

Nagasumi returns home to find both his and San’s family worrying over an injured Maki. Gouzaburou declares war, and even San wants revenge. However, Nagasumi stops San as her husband, knowing that they shouldn’t resort to violence. Nagasumi visits Luna’s lair and proposes a singing competition between her and San. Luna agrees, saying that if San were to lose, he would become hers. Nagasumi asks what would happen if Luna were to lose, but she replies that there is no way that could happen.

Everyone has gathered at the concert stage, while Luna’s manager notices how determined she is. Gouzaburou, Masa, Fujishiro, and Nagasumi watch from the stands along with both factions, while Luna tells everyone what the contest is about. Luna starts singing, and receives many cheers from her fans. Nagasumi is amazed, because it is like her real performances. When she finishes, the crowd demands an encore, which she agrees to do. Luna is determined to keep San from taking the stage. However, as she begins her next song, San takes the stage anyways, matching her act. Nagasumi, along with everyone else in the crowd is amazed by San’s voice. Everyone cheers together, forgetting that they were fighting against each other. Nagasumi notices that everyone is losing themselves, so Fujishiro tells him that it is because of the mermaid’s voice.

Mawari and her group of girls have arrived to stop them, but she opens the door to find that she is far too late. Meanwhile, Luna is angered from what has happened to her fans. She changes her singing, causing everyone to go back to war. Nagasumi makes her way to San, wanting to help in some way. San believes that he can do it, and starts to sing a song for him. With this, Nagasumi transforms, gaining the power to take out everyone from both factions.

After it is all over, Luna cries in front of San’s family because of her loss. San demands that she apologize to Maki, but Luna denies that she has done anything. Ren then appears with Maki to tell the true story. Luna was only going to see San, but Maki decided to attack her anyways. She missed her attack, causing injury to herself on the wall behind her. San makes up with Luna, and Nagasumi is glad that she was not at a fault. The next day, Luna has breakfast with Nagasumi’s family, and everything is well.

Impression:

Wow, this episode was epic, and I loved it. I still found it extremely ridiculous with the whole factions war, but the contest was great. The majority of the episode was singing at the concert. I really wasn’t expecting it, and it almost reminded me of Lovely Idol (but not in a bad way). San and Luna’s seiyu’s are great. There will definitely be a CD release for the songs, which will be nice. Nagasumi’s transformation was very over the top, but hilarious as usual. It’s nice that San and Luna are over their major rivalry, and it looks like the fun will just continue with the next episode.
