Nagasarete Airantou - 12
Short summaries are so much more fun…and so is this episode. For those of you hoping for some Machi action will get plenty of it today.
Short Summary:
After learning from Ayane that cooking is actually a wife’s work, Machi decides to learn how to do so herself. She goes to Chikage for help, but soon finds that Panako actually does all the work in her house. Machi then decides to get help from Rin, and gets mixed results. Ikuto discusses the fact that not everyone on the mainland can cook with Suzu and Ayane, when the three of them get an invitation from Machi to have dinner. Rin tries to warn them off, but they get captured by Machi’s spirits. A hesitant Ikuto is the first to try her cooking, and is surprised to find that it is actually very good. However, Machi will not let anyone leave until they have had a taste of everything she has cooked.
Impression:
“Ryokai de arimasu~” I don’t know why, but Machi definitely has the power to make an episode three times as good. You just can’t help but like her. It’s the little things she does or says that just make you smile. Her playing around with Rin while they were cutting fish was freaking hilarious. The end of the episode was pretty funny, with even Suzu trying to sell Ikuto out, but predictable as well. That’s just the kind of show this is. Hopefully we can get more episodes like this in the future, over all the boring ones they’ve been throwing at us.

wow, it’s finally machi’s turn.
can’t let her to cook
btw, is there any scene for chizuru-san (machi’s mother)in this episode?
Nope. She still hasn’t made her apearance in the anime. I find it really weird, since she appeared very early in the manga. Maybe they’re planning to do something big with her appearance, or just can’t fit her in?
