Hayate no Gotoku – 13
Hayate prepares for Hakuou Academy’s entrance exam, with a bit of trouble. We also get quite a bit of Ayumu flashback filler.
Short Summary:
While searching for an empty restaurant to eat in, Ayumu wonders how Hayate has been doing. At the same time, Hayate has been thinking about his situation between Ayumu and Nagi. After delivering a package to Nagi, he is surprised to find that they are actually his entrance papers to Hakuou Academy. However, he is pressured when he finds that the test is the next day, and he will be fired if he does not get in. After studying for a while, Hayate finds Klause in his bed. Klause and Tama both try to “help” him prepare for his test the next day, but they only interrupt his sleep. The next day, Yukiji gives Hayate a fake test as a joke. After taking the real test, Nagi assures Hayate that he will join her in school, and even decides to hold a party in advance. However, Yukiji discovers that Hayate has barely failed the exam.
Preview: Nagi holds a party for Hayate’s admission, while Yukiji tries to reveal the truth.
Impression:
Wow. They actually managed to extend one short chapter to a full episode with Ayumu filler and Hayate trying to kick people out of his room. Do we really need a flashback of Ayumu’s events when it all happened in the previous episode!? Well, I guess the episode I will actually be looking forward to is the next one. This episode was pretty boring. I can’t help but think it is because I’ve already read the manga though. I do find the after episode shorts with Hayate and Nagi very enjoyable.
