Hayate no Gotoku - 15
I just got back from being at a LAN party for three days, so my regular posts and posts on new shows for this weekend will all be quite delayed. Adding to this (not really so) bad news, I will probably be dropping this show. More on all of this after the jump~.
Short Summary:
After waking up in the morning, Hayate finds Hinagiku outside of his room. She stayed over at the mansion out of worry, but tells Hayate that she will see him at school after learning that he has been accepted. After she leaves, Hayate talks with Nagi about school, and is shocked to find that she has skipped grades so that she would be in the same grade as his. Making their way onto the school grounds, Nagi describes to Hayate one of their school’s most amazing students. When she tells him that she may be closer to him than he thinks, we see that she was actually talking about Maria. Afterwards, they run into a butler named Himuro and his master Taiga, who seems happy to serve his own butler. Because Himuro mentions the condition for receiving Nagi’s inheritance, Hayate jumps in front of her. However, Himuro does not care about that, because he already has his master’s money. Before leaving, Himuro steals Hayate’s tie before he can notice, which makes him go back home to get a new one from Maria.
When they return, Yukiji prepares to introduce Hayate to the class that Nagi is in. Hayate becomes nervous because of the pressure she puts on him, but he still manages to make a very good impression. Going outside for lunch, Hayate expresses his appreciation to Nagi for letting him attend school, which causes her to turn red. Adding to her embarrassment, Hinagiku walks by to interrupt them on the way to her club. This makes Hayate ask if Nagi is a member of any clubs, so she tells him that she is in the kendo club. She had joined after seeing how cool Hinagiku looked, but stopped after realizing that she could not reach the same level as her. For Nagi’s sake, Hayate visits the Kendo club. The members there get very angry when they hear Hayate and Hinagiku talking to each other so casually, so one of the members, Azumamiya Koutarou, challenges Hayate to a duel. However, when he realizes how powerful Hayate actually is, he calls for his combat butler, Nonohara Kaede, to fight for him.
Preview: Hayate is forced to fight Ichimaru Gin Kaede.
Impression:
With so many good shows coming out this summer season, I really don’t have the time to blog all of the shows I watch. Because of my time zone, I cannot really blog this show until Sunday afternoon unless I decide to lose some sleep. By then, everyone has already covered this show better than I have. Usually this wouldn’t bother me, except for the fact that I really don’t have much to say about this show anymore. Every episode ends with me saying something like “Ok, this was pretty good.” or “This episode was really boring.” Again, I haven’t lost interest in this show. I’ve just lost most of my motivation to blog it. That will make this my first dropped show in blogging, and I will probably be picking up the second season of Zero no Tsukaima to take its place. Expect my review on that and Moetan tomorrow, as well as my regular post on Seto no Hanayome.
If anyone is interested in what I was doing during the LAN, we mostly played Warcraft 3 because the theme was rts this time. We also played a bit of the Wii, and saw Transformers again. My friends and I hold a few of these every couple of months. We did a few UT2004 and fps themes at first, shifted to WoW parties for awhile (yes you can laugh….I quit WoW a long time ago but here’s my leester), and then rts for our most recent. Who else is pumped for Starcraft 2? ^.
