Short Summary:

Amuro introduces herself to the swim club after joining. She notices one of the members in particular, Shizuoka Mirei, because of her huge rack. After some of the members start bringing up Kaname’s inability to swim, the swim team captain suddenly appears. He introduces himself to Amuro, but suddenly pulls out a razor to shave her legs. With this, he throws razors everywhere, and the boys begin chasing girls to shave them. He even convinces Kaname to approach Amuro, but he slips and accidentally cuts open her swimsuit. This makes him run in panic behind a wall, where Mirei is also hiding. He mentions that she probably didn’t like what was happening, but she suddenly says that she might like it soon after agreeing. While leaving school, Kaname admits to Amuro that he probably had fun during practice. Makio expresses how much help Amuro could be to the team and discusses how much Kaname had helped her with swimming, before parting with them on the way to her house. Amuro excitedly finds that Kaname’s house is in the same direction as hers, which makes her start walking with him to school in the mornings.

Later at practice, Kaname and Momoko attempt to drive students away who have come to check out the girls. Mirei eventually comes to Kaname, and asks if he can help her because of her slow start. While being asked if she is embarrassed from people looking at her, she again replies that she might like it after agreeing. Mirei politely thanks Kaname while she leaves school, which makes him believe that what he heard must have been a mistake. However, he sees that she is wearing a garter belt under her school uniform as the wind blows. While walking home with him, Amuro brings up the disappointing face that Kaname displayed earlier at practice. Kaname admits that he might feel a bit left out, but is satisfied with supporting everyone. However, he sees that Amuro has fallen off the bridge when he turns around. He contemplates whether he should jump in to save her while she seems to panic, but finds that she was only being tickled by a sea lion.

Impression:

This show is definitely not letting me down. This episode was just as hilarious as the first, and its been awhile since I’ve laughed so much during an anime. The new major character we’re introduced to, Shizuoka Mirei, was great. It surprised me when I heard Fukui Yukari’s voice (Nia from Gurren Lagann, Sara Adiemas from School Rumble). Add that with Shimizu Ai and the upcoming Toyosaki Aki’s voices, and I almost died of moe overload. This show is going to make her big by the way. I can feel it. I never expected this show to be so good. In fact, I was iffy about even watching it at first. Well, I’m glad I did. I am definitely following this show from here on. I need the OP and ED singles….now!! ^. ~
