Summary:

Iinchou wakes from a dream, where her prince was none other than Nagasumi. Later at school, Kai attempts to ask San out on a date by presenting her with very rare event tickets. However, because it isn’t with Nagasumi, she refuses. Saru gives Kai the idea of doing a double date, and creating a chance to get closer to San that way. With this, Mawari gets dragged in, and everyone agrees to go. Meeting outside sometime later, Kai shows up with Mawari and Saru, while Nagasumi arrives with San and Luna. They draw straws to decide pairings, but Nagasumi is paired with San anyways. Kai gets paired with Mawari, and Luna panics from being paired with Saru. Everyone prepares for the boat ride, but Luna orders Nagasumi to buy juice for her. Nagasumi runs into Iinchou on the way, and ends up breaking her glasses. However, neither of the two recognize each other. Meanwhile, Luna tries to get help from San to keep away from Saru, causing San to fall into the pond. Nagasumi quickly arrives to keep San’s identity hidden from Saru, then asks to borrow money from Luna to pay for Iinchou’s glasses. Luna agrees with a condition, giving Nagasumi a credit card. Nagasumi returns to Iinchou, and accompanies her to buy new glasses. Iinchou mentions that Nagasumi’s voice sounds similar to someone she knows, and describes his traits. Nagasumi asks if she likes this person, which makes her become very red.

Meanwhile, Kai and Mawari realize that it is their first time being alone with the opposite sex, besides with their childhood friends, which causes a chaotic situation. Iinchou falls into a bush because she cannot see very well, so Nagasumi offers his arm to her. Iinchou thinks to herself that she wouldn’t want Nagasumi to see her like this, as she notices Nagasumi’s kindness. The two eventually come across Gouzaburou playing baseball with the rest of the family. Nagasumi is dragged in to Gouzaburou’s plot against him, but he runs off after being hit in the head with a baseball. Finally making it to the shop, the store managers become very excited at the sight of the credit card Nagasumi presents. Riding together in the limo provided afterwards, Nagasumi suggests to Iinchou that she try on her new glasses. Upon putting them on and seeing Nagasumi, Iinchou panics and runs away. Nagasumi catches up to her, but Iinchou attempts to change her voice after realizing that he did not recognize her. Iinchou responds to Nagasumi’s earlier suggestion that she confess to the person she likes by telling him she will do her best. She almost responds to Nagasumi’s request for her name, but is interrupted by San and her family passing by. With this, she takes the chance to run away. The next day at school, Nagasumi approaches Iinchou, but only to tell her that the teacher is calling on her.

Preview: A new student appears!

Impression:

Nagasumi and Iinchou’s encounter had me remembering a Love Hina episode the whole time I was watching. This episode was not as funny as the last few that have been presented, but I guess we did get a bit of character development. I could probably sympathize with Iinchou, even though no one could possibly get in between Nagasumi and San. I guess there just has to be other love interests for this show to qualify as a love comedy. I also found it kind of weird how no one questioned why San would only go on a date with Nagasumi. The last time I checked, the fact that they were married was still hidden to the class. Oh well, I’m probably just looking into it too much. The character we’ve all been wait for finally shows up next week. I have no idea what she will offer to the table, but I’m excited none the less.
