I am soooo not typing out “Zero no Tsukaima Futatsuki no Kishi” again……wait.

Short Summary:

Henrietta remembers the promise she made with the Prince of Whales, as she sheds tears over his death. She suddenly hears his voice outside of her window, and Whales proves his identity to her with his ring. Agnes later informs Louise and Saito of Henrietta’s kidnapping, so they start to head out using Saito’s plane. As Agnes and the rest of Henrietta’s royal guard catch up to Whales, he wards them off with magic. Elsewhere, Saito’s plane malfunctions, but Tabitha and Kirche come to their aid. Everyone confronts Whales at the lake, but Henrietta is convinced to stay by his side. He easily takes out Tabitha and Kirche, but Saito unsheathes his sword to guard Louise. Derflinger suggests that Louise use the book they received earlier, and with it, she releases dispelling magic against Whales to defeat him. Whales asks for Henrietta to forget about him as his last wish, as she cries again over his death.

Impression:

The fight in this episode was so awesome. I really missed the magic from the first season, and it looks like we’ll get to see a lot more now that Louise and Saito are more experienced. I was surprised to see Saito and Louise using the plane again, but when Tabitha and Kirche saved them, I was thinking “didn’t something exactly like this happen in season one?”. As far as the Prince of Whales goes, I honestly forgot about him dying in the first season. Am I the only one who watches this show for the love comedy aspects? I totally forgot most of the plot, and I only remember things like the love potion episode (ok that’s an exaggeration, but I really have forgotten a lot of stuff) . I’m sure everyone else will be saying something about Whales’ death being more deserving this time or something, but as for me, I need to rewatch the first season….like now.
