Zombie Loan - 03

Woah, yuri kissing! I thought Touka Gettan was yesterday.

Summary:

At school, Michiru’s classmates ask her again to buy their food, but she has to decline. To her surprise, they don’t make a big deal of it, and one of them returns the notebook she borrowed from her. Shedding a few tears, Michiru realizes that she really has friends, and states that she is glad to be alive. Arriving at the Zombie Loan office later that day, she walks in on Bekkou dealing with a customer. She hears from Yuuta that the client is a zombie, and Yuuta reveals that she is one herself. Adding to Michiru’s shock, Yuuta introduces her talking hands to Michiru, Ken Ken and Kon Kon. When Shito and Chika arrive, Chika introduces someone that will provide Michiru with housing. While riding in the limo with her, Michiru finds that the girl is playing a game that she is familiar with. Michiru gets closer to the girl after walking her through the game, and finally learns that the girl’s name is Shimotsuki Kuse. While Kuse walks Michiru through the run down dormitory will be living in, she meets a cheerful girl named Yoimachi Koyomi who also lives there. After finally seeing her room, Michiru decides that she will have to start cleaning right away.

Michiru ends up doing more work than she expected, and when she returns to her room, she finds that everyone has prepared a welcoming party for her. While enjoying themselves, Chika ends up explaining to Michiru that the only reason they brought her back to life was so that they could use her Shinigami’s eyes. Shito and Chika end up having to leave for business shortly after, leaving Michiru alone with a passed out Koyomi. Michiru tries to wake her up, but another personality appears and starts kissing and fondling her. The next day at school, Koyomi acts completely normal towards her. Finding out that Michiru has discovered Koyomi’s other personality, Yomi, everyone at the Zombie Loan decides to use her. Waking Yomi up again, they have her channel a woman’s words to them. Later, Michiru ends up going to work in a convenience store with Chika, and witness a thief run out with some merchandise. Chika chases after this man, but he stops when he meets an acquaintance of his, Reiichirou Shiba.

Preview: I dunno. Something goes down.

Impression:

After last week, I was going to drop this show if this episode didn’t hold my interest, but this made up for everything. Ok, more seriously, this episode did bring back the interesting atmosphere that episode one had, proving that it takes more than a couple episodes to really judge a show. I am enjoying writing about this show, but yes, I am still iffy about continuing. It’s not because of the lack of interest anymore, but because I would be blogging three shows on Tuesday if I did. Well, for now I will try to blog this every week. There’s no harm in blogging when I want to, and if the show goes in a bad direction again, I’ll just drop it.

Peach Pit tends to create cult favorites. A lot of you probably already know that DearS is one of my favorite love comedies, and I fell in love with Rozen Maiden at first second sight (At first, I thought the doll concept was just really weird). I’m not sure if this series will be the same, but I want to give it a chance so that I can find out.

I hope you keep blogging this show. I read the manga and it gets pretty interesting in a bit, if they stick to the story.

Darker > I’ll keep blogging as long as it can keep my interests ^. I’m sure they’ll keep to the original story, so hopefully I can look forward to that.

Sniper > lol yea, that totally through me off guard. It’s a second personality, too. How awesome! xD

Mintie > Hehe yea, Kuse is pretty cool, despite being the cliched silent type character.

Fang-tan > WHAT? That totally killed that character for me. Did I miss that somewhere?
