Zero no Tsukaima 2 – 03
It’s really hard to come up with witty lines for this show. Love comedies with a plot…sigh.
Short Summary:
Because of the upcoming war, all of the male students in the academy are forced to leave. This makes Saito think that he will be the only boy in the school, but someone suddenly arrives on a dragon. The transfer student introduces himself as Cesare Giullo. In class, Kirche mentions to Tabitha that Giullio did not have to go because of being a transfer student. Agnes suddenly enters to interrupt class, forcing everyone outside to train for the war. Despite not being a student, Saito is brought into the mess as well. Becoming interested after seeing this, Giullio challenges Saito to a match. Saito is convinced to do so after being taunted, even though Louise does not want him to. Saito seeks out Agnes later that night, hoping to have her teach him how to use a sword. When Louise finally finds Saito after continually searching for him, he is on top of Agnes, causing a usual misunderstanding. The next day, Saito and Giullio face off. Derflinger tells Louise that there is no way Saito can defeat his opponent, but Giullio seems to fall to Saito’s last strike. Saito walks off angrily afterwards, explaining to Louis that Giullio lost on purpose. Being called inside shortly afterwards, Louise and Saito find Henrietta inside a school office, along with Giullio who will be working with them. Henrietta explains that even though she is there, it is not her intention to bring the school to danger. Elsewhere, a large crowd seems to be cheering to a woman named Sheffield, because of the power of the ring she is wearing.
Preview: We finally meet Louise’s older sisterS and some other chick.
Impression:
Well this episode was pretty fun. The duel challenge was something that was done in the previous season, but I guess there was more of a twist with Agnes in the picture this time. The question is brought up on why she hates mages, but we are only shown a small flash that didn’t really tell us much. I was about to get pissed if they made Giullio a love rival for Saito, but thankfully that wasn’t the case. I was also right in my guess from last week. Henrietta quickly went back to good terms with Louise and Saito, thanking them for helping her move on. The powerful ring from the last season makes a return at the end of this episode, with Sheffield using its power to bring people to war. Besides all the plot stuff, we got to see more Saito x Louise stuff, which is always fun. It was a bit disappointing that Louise didn’t get her kiss from Saito. She even said “but that kind of makes it like I got dumped” or something along those lines. Haha. I’m looking forward to the next episode, even though I’m not a big fan of one-san appeal.
For the record, I never did rewatch the first season. I’m just not the type that can rewatch anime that easily, especially since I have such a huge backlog of anime to watch already. All I did was go through the archives of some of my favorite anime blogs to refresh my memory. I think that should be enough

Looks like satio is going to get a new girl.lol. Hes such a playboy, man i’m so jealous of him.lol
The other chick is Louise’s sister as well.
Oh wow, so she is. The blonde hair just through me off I guess.
Dang…so that’s double the one-san appeal. xD
Haha I have no time to rewatch shows either xD;;
(I sometimes go back through my own archives for reference lol) – that and actually I deleted season 1 anyway =x
Now we know where Louise gets her whip fetish.lol
Hinano > Haha, I look through my own archives for references too, even for recent shows…mainly to remember names of characters I guess. I can’t bring myself to delete anime…I just think it’s a waste to do that @_@. That’s probably a bad habit though.
Sniper > lol you’re probably right. I’m pretty sure they’re going to build on the nice sister/strict sister thing, which would give Louise her tsundere influence. xD
