Zero no Tsukaima 2 – 04

So last week I didn’t realize that Louise had two sisters until someone told me, so my episode preview totally became Zero no Tsukaima StrikerS. I think we all know who the real mahou shoujo is around here.

Summary:

Louise wakes up to scream at Saito for accidentally touching her boobs in his sleep. She is interrupted, however, when her older sister Eleanor opens the door to take Louise home. Saito and Siesta also get dragged along, and sit together in the carriage. When they accidentally embrace each other because of a bump in the road, Louise lets off an explosion. After arriving at their enormous mansion, Louise greets her other older sister, Cattleya, before having dinner with her mother. At the table, Eleanor discusses the need for Louise to find a husband. An argument begins after Louise says that Eleanor should be the first one to marry, but their mother stops them. That night, Siesta leaves her room to seek Saito. After Cattleya guesses Louise’s loved one in bed, Louise leaves to find Saito in his room as well. Louise gets under Saito’s blanket, but ends up kissing Seista. When she asks what she is doing there, Siesta lies and tells her that Saito told her to come to his room. Elsewhere, Saito enters Eleanor’s room while searching for Louise. Eleanor embraces him while dreaming of love, but they both freak out after finding that they have made a mistake. Eleanor then brings out a whip to punish Saito.

The next day, Louise’s father finally greets her while everyone is having breakfast. He only suggests that she find a husband soon before leaving. Cattleya seeks out Saito later, and tells him to take care of Louise. Saito finds Louise crying in a boat, and tells her that they are leaving. Louise brings up that he prefers Siesta, but Saito assures her that she is mistaken. Saito finally confesses to Louise, and embraces her. Louise pushes him off at first, but then suggests that he should get a reward from his master. As the boat floats from the shore, Saito and Louise share a very intimate kiss. However, Louise panics when she opens her eyes to see her mother and father looking down at them. Louise’s father has gaurds go after Saito, but he fends them off with Derflinger. Saito carries Louise to the exit, where they are trying to close the bridge off to him. Cattleya magically brings down the bridge, opening the path to Siesta who has already prepared the carriage. Louise remains in her love struck state with Saito, until he tells her where he was the previous night. With this, Louise starts beating him as usual.

Preview: Louise hasn’t escaped Eleanor for good.

Impression:

Tsukaima? More like suki-kaima! Hahaha, get it? ……….ok. Anyways, wow. This episode was more than awesome. From Louise getting embarrassed by her sisters to Louise kissing Seista, I was smiling the whole time. Those events were nowhere close to the highlight of the episode though, as this had to be the biggest Louise x Saito episode ever. Louise’s face while being carried away by Saito was so great! I usually watch love comedies for the laughs rather than the love love, but it’s hard not to appreciate stuff like this. I think everyone was happy. I actually shouted out “Yes!” when the confession and kiss happened. It’s going to be hard to top this episode, and it looks like we’re back to the regular plot drive next episode. Hopefully Louise will be able to prove Eleanor wrong by showing her magic potential somehow.

Well, Louise can’t actually prove Eleanore wrong until after her top secret missions are finished, since no one is supposed to know that Louise is a Void Sorceress, yet. And as we have seen… Louise does not seem to have mastered any non-void magic yet =\.

I enjoyed when Derflinger told Saito how close he was to going all the way. I also can’t wait to see what Siesta’s special plan for charming Saito is. Her move to sneak into Saito’s room was much bolder than I expected!

OMG Kabitzin watches Znt for the plot! *runs away*

Yea, it probably isn’t possible for Louise to show off her void powers, but I was hoping we could at least see her do something to impress her sister. I just have the feeling she will, since Eleanor is showing up at the academy to abuse Louise in the next episode. Well, maybe not. :P

lol Siesta….sadly I think they have just put her in a minor love interest role. I really don’t think she will ever be able to beat Louise. Who knows, she might do something crazy.

If I was Siesta, I’d try to bag that Julio guy. That would make Saito jealous. However, I don’t know if Julio goes for peasants. I really don’t see any way how Siesta could win, unless she murders Louise.

If Louise wants to impress her middle sister, she’ll have to find a hot nobleman with facial hair for Eleonore to marry. Sadly, this is probably Louise’s most realistic option for impressing Eleonore.

    ZnT plot is epic, lol.

“I really don’t see any way how Siesta could win, unless she murders Louise.”

Then Yui Horie would switch over to her Higurashi role….that would be….interesting.

As for the plot, I think you need to pay attention to more important things….like Louise being a tsuntsun.
