This Might Work

My college experience begins.
So I’ve finally settled into my dorm after attending a lot of the introduction festivities at school (we got to see a real hypnotist in action on Friday, and I dressed up as a robot yesterday….it was pretty leet). I don’t start classes till Tuesday, so I have some time to catch up just a bit. It is confirmed that my University shapes traffic to block torrents, which is an obvious road block. I have quite a few other options to make up for that, but my blogging schedule will be very hectic for awhile either way. I will be shaping my blogging schedule according to my RL schedule starting next season, and I will try my best to continue covering everything I picked up in this season. However, if you’re like me, a lot of you probably don’t like inconsistency. Because of that, I will be providing some alternate blogs for a lot of the shows I cover along with the general situation I have with certain shows. These are all blogs that I love, so don’t be afraid to check them out!
Touka Gettan - I should still be able to obtain Touka Gettan on a regular basis. Its coming out so late when I have school the next day will be the only problem, but that’s something that has been regular for this show since I first started covering it.
Recommended blog: Subculture has always been your source for Touka Gettan! I’m pretty sure I’ve always been the only one covering it…
School Days - I will have a hard time obtaining this show on the day that it comes out, not to mention that it is on a day where three of the shows I blog come out. I also have class practically all day on Tuesdays. I might have to start covering this show closer to the time subs come out.
Recommended blog: Shirukii-sempai does great reviews on School Days at Animeblog ga Arimasu.
Umisho - Again, this is a Tuesday show. It is also pretty difficult to obtain because of its low popularity. My coverage of this show might start slowing down considerably.
Recommended blog: Hinano does hilarious reviews of this show at Ex-Fansubber Hitorigoto.
Zombie Loan - I will be able to obtain this show on a regular basis, but it is another Tuesday show. That means short delays on Zombie Loan, but that shouldn’t be a huge change.
Recommended blog: Kaibitzin does awesome reviews on this show at Sea Slugs!
Nagasarete Airantou - I won’t be able to get Airantou raws easily, but subs come out fairly quickly. My coverage on this show will probably just be pushed to the weekend.
Recommended blog: Look no further than Tenka Seiha for Aroduc’s quick reviews on this show.
Devil May Cry - I will be able to get this show on a regular basis, so reviews will show up at the beginning of the weekend as usual.
Recommended blog: Apparently nobody likes this show because I’m the only one covering it on an episodic basis.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - The unpopularity of this show never ceases to amaze me. I will have a very hard time accessing this show, which really saddens me. Reviews will probably start coming out weeks late. orz
Recommended blog: I haven’t come across another blog that covers this show consistently, but Kita ze Inbou covers it subbed, and Leon is pretty cool.
Zero no Tsukaima - Don’t count on me getting raws for this show any time soon, but subs come out quick. My coverage may or may not be greatly delayed because of its airing so close to the start of the week.
Recommended blog: Omni’s coverage at Random Curiosity is really the obvious choice for this one.
Seto no Hanayome - Same case with ZnT, basically.
Recommended blog: Subuculture is and always has been your source for Seto no Hanayome reviews! I think nobody else covers it regularly just because they don’t have much to talk about.

I thought RandomC followed raws, so there’s always a gap. They have Lucky Star 20 up already. Suppose I want to read what’s relevant for me now, I should go 10 pages back.
Regarding torrents, you can always become an R1 blogger. Join the club and all that…
Don’t worry to much about the blog, both you and the readers can live with out it. Even thought it’s one of the best out there. But college is important and I’m going next year also. So my blog will also be hectic, hell I might stop it all together in the end. IDK. What’s your major?
Wow it seems you have to cut back alot from your blog. Well the other blogs you provide do help alot. Thanks
Oh yeah i just found out that Absolute Territory provides blogs for Seto no Hanayome,Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and so on. Just go to http://absolute.animeblogger.net/
I hope this helps
It’s college! Have fun and meet lots of people first! College’s technically once in a life time thing. Take care of yourself and be good to some new friends first.
http://www.boontan.net since you can’t use torrents
they cover latest anime
Author > well, I have my own reasons for blogging raws. I just find it more productive than just blogging subs. As far as switching to R1 blogging, I don’t think I’m ready for that kind of change yet! x)
Tokki > The thing is, I really like anime blogging! It’s really a productive hobby that is worth keeping, and I don’t plan on quitting any time soon. I will lighten my load as soon as the next season starts though. I’m a digital media major going into graphic design for web and print.
Sniper > Yea, like I said, the remainder of this season is going to be really messy for me. I did think of Absolute Territory, but I honestly don’t visit their site that much. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but their site layout hurts my eyes :S.
Ray > I have already met quite a few people, and I’m really looking forward to my time here! Hopefully I won’t be overwhelmed by my new classes ;P
Huang > I’ve been there before to get Keroro Gunsou I think xD. Thanks, not being able to get raws easily makes me a very sad panda.
thanks for the reply if you are stuck looking for an anime just mention it, i read your blog very often so I’ll provide links for direct download (knowing you can’t use torrents) lol
and about raws…i’ll see if there is a site with direct downloading for anime raws (i doubt it) XD
