I wouldn't say that everyone loves monster, but those who actually watch it do. I tried watching monster, and I did see how it could have good points, but I just couldn't get past the art or slow story. I mean it's just such a lonnng story....As far as Berserk goes, I still haven't been able to get into it. I just can't get into classics that easily :S. Anyways, to try to stay slightly on topic (no I don't actually care about staying on topic), there is no reason to follow mainstream opinion. Liking what you like is the way to go!
