Ninomiya-kun – 02
If you think I’m writing out Goshusho-sama again, you’re crazy.
Summary:
Ninomiya has a hard time trying to sleep in the same bed as Mayu, and this becomes worse when she gets closer to him. Ninomiya turns and almost kisses her, but he panics when her eyes open for a second. The next day, a sleepy Ninomiya goes to school with Mayu. The boys are entranced by her as usual, but she tries to calm herself as a precaution against this. The student council chair, Hojo Reika, confronts Ninomiya as she typically does, but Mayu begins making fun of her soon afterwards. Hosaka Mitsuru stops Reika before she can slap Mayu, taking the hit instead. Mayu expresses that she suddenly changed after hearing Reika’s voice, before she is introduced to the class afterwards.
Outside during swim class, Ninomiya is teased by the girls. Mayu is being confronted by the boys in a similar way, but Ninomiya attempts to help her. This results in the fence collapsing, putting Ninomiya and Mayu in the nurse’s office. Ninomiya wakes to find Mayu on top of him, refering to him in a childish way. Ryoko interrupts them, revealing that she has become the school nurse. Reika spies on Mayu and Ninomiya while they are in class, as Mikihiko appears behind her. He presents a challenge to Reika, and she confirms her acceptance while at home. Hosaka believes that Reika is not being honest, as she really wants to be close to Ninomiya.
At the Ninomiya household, Mayu and Ninomiya act for Ryoko. This is broken up by Reika’s entrance. With all the characters in place, Ryoko proposes a contest between Mayu and Reika. This ends in Mayu’s easy win, but they still allow Reika to be alone with Ninomiya. Using the contest as an excuse, Reika undresses to only a shirt. She returns to Ninomiya to confess to him, but finds that he has fallen asleep. She almost takes this chance to kiss him, but Ninomiya damages her in his sleep. Afterwards, Reika is forced to become Ninomiya’s maid. She is reminded that she will still be able to be with Ninomiya this way, before Ryoko begins teasing her.

Impression:
Ok, this was still awful. It was awesome at the same time though. It’s becoming like School Days bad, except better. This time I can make fun of the horrible production and plot, and love it at the same time for being a love comedy. Ok, first of all, what’s with the distorted faces? That was really hard to miss. This animation is horribly inconsistent, and the voice jobs are not impressive at all. I hope that they get away from that male harem thing they have going for Mayu. I really hate those. The childhood complex is all over the place and obvious as well, and I still can’t get over Ninomiya and Mayu’s voyeur siblings.
Now, lets get to the good stuff. Reika is amazing. She fits all of the stereotypical oujosama roles ever, except she is being forced to be a maid for Ninomiya. That kiss scene totally had love power vibes all over it. Yea, you know what I’m talking about. Even that horrible piano entrance was great! With the second episode in place, it’s obvious what kind of show this is going to be. Just take note of the various boob shots and moaning. Mayu is already growing on me, and so is Reika who has just been introduced. Well, if you can’t tell already, I’m totally tsuntsun for this show right now. It’s been guaranteed to be in my schedule since before the season started, so no need to ask if I will continue blogging this. We’ll be back next week!
Note: Man, I cannot tell what the ED is suppose to be. I know what we are getting now cannot be the real one. It’s suppose to be “Furefurepponpon! (ふれふれっぽんぽん！)” by Mai Kadowaki & Miyuki Sawashiro, but it’s odd that it wouldn’t show up by the second episode. Low production value or lack of time, perhaps?

Keep blogging this show I beginning to like Reika. I don’t care anymore about the qualities and VA as long as it make me tsun tsun too so keep blogging this anime.
Totali, your Ninomiya-kun bashing has gone too far. this show owns. You know it’s true. Hey, when a show like Myself, Yourself does something and it comes out lame, it’s bad, because it’s trying to be good. This show is what it is. I don’t think it’s supposed to be “good” anyhow. How can you hate on that? Just hope a sub comes a little faster this week.
So bad it’s good. Snakes on a Plane, man. Train wreck. Dumb plot.
What the hell was the deal with the animation? I attempted to watch it but it went from ok to total SHIT – this is gonna turn into like yoake mae nooo!! XDXDXD
Also this show is nowhere near as awesome as school days. It’s just awful period how can you stand it @@

The ONLY reason why this is watchable…
is that there is a Ren in a maid outfit. Everything else can go. Reika is a 1:1 copy ripoff. Change the bow to black and reposition it and give her a catform… and we have “Why I assault Ren”
I think the show is cute and I’m sure I have definitely gone past my ‘can watch anything’ stage. Its not as bad as crescent love.

Well my friend told me to watch this since Seto no Hanayome ended… Still can’t say I love it… It’s not bad, maybe a lil on the side of weird… I wonder what kind of misadventure Ninomiya will have in the future… Still wonder why he can’t “lay a hand on a woman”… Has anyone figured it out??? Fern if you see this text… WTF!! You lied about knowing when Season 2 of Seto no Hanayome was gonna come out… *groan* This show will never replace the love I have for Seto no Hanayome… Still hoping for Season 2… pray with me friends…..

Hmm well… from that flash back of him helping Reika when she was young… It could be that he likes to protect women who are inoccent… like Mayu, she’s like an 8 year old. He’s probably the type who’s not in to the naughty girls. Well I’m gonna watch this only to learn specificly why he is that way… Totali what do you recomend I watch besides this? And Fern, never recomend me a thing again… That guy knows I’ll watch somethin all the way through until I get the plot right… DAMN YOU FERN!!! At least it’s not as bad as School Days was… That was beyond BAD… The ending was psycho weird to the nonsenical extreme!! Who in the right mind would like how that ended!? Hmm….I have a hard time recommending things to people. I watch a lot, but everyone has different tastes. You can look at my AnimeSeen to see how I’ve rated some shows….and I’ll probably recommend most of the stuff that I’ve blogged. xD
