Wanna create an incident?

Summary:

Nana attempts to show off her new school outfit to Kazuki, but she finds that his mind is somewhere else. All Kazuki can think about is the incident he had with Eriko earlier. After finding out how Kazuki felt about the kiss, Eriko expressed that she did not feel good at all. She had told him that this was enough for the day, before leaving him. At the Aihara house, Kouichi continues to play video games with Mao. He finds that she has already made a lot of friends, but she returns this thought by mentioning the reactions Kouichi had during the first day of school.

Kazuki and Nana run into Akira on the way to the school the next day, who has items for club promotion. Nana notices a girl coming out of a limo not to far ahead, Shijo Mitsuki. Akira names all of her perfect princess like traits to Kazuki, as he has researched the girls at school already. Nana is stopped by a girl named Kuryuu Megumi, because of the childish frog she has on her backpack. Akira tells everything he knows about Megumi as well, before taking off to class with Kazuki. Nana meets with another girl who has a related frog on her bag, but this results in Megumi’s scolding of both of them.

Mentioning Akira’s knowledge while going up the stairs, Kazuki decides to ask about Eriko. A bit surprised at Kazuki, Akira describes her as a genius and untouchable girl. Meanwhile, Mao drags Kouichi into the school grounds at a high speed. Megumi scolds Kouichi and a sleeping Mao, as Yumi looks from a classroom above. After the opening ceremonies, Kazuki searches for Eriko with no luck. He meets with Akira outside afterwards, where he is given the task of promoting the club. When he bumps into Asuka, she scolds him for not helping the soccer club instead. This is broken up by his sister and the girl from the morning, who introduces herself as Satonaka Narumi. Kazuki gets to know more about Nana’s new friend, but he leaves them as soon as he sees a paper airplane flying in the air.

Mao is drawn to the sound of a sax, being played by none other than Kai. He attempts to avoid her again when she meets him, but expresses that he is preparing for a competition. After mentioning how amazing this is, Mao promises not to talk to Kai about examinations anymore. In exchange, she wishes to become friends with him. With a smile, Kai finally agrees. Kazuki finally finds Eriko on the roof, but when he asks her about what happened the other day, Eriko only confirms again that it was an incident. As he wishes to know more, Eriko only tells Kazuki that the incident is over before leaving. Kouichi mistakes Yumi for a new student outside and apologizes, but she replies with her happiness that Kouichi knew her name. As the two do their best to talk to each other about small things, Mao observes from a distance. Mao finally gets Kouichi to talk that night at home, but she is surprised to find that this was the first time that he had really spoken to Yumi. With this, Mao promises to help him out.

Impression:

This show is definitely on the top of my list for pleasant surprises of the season. Call me a sucker, but I love shows like this. It just gives me that fluttering feeling in the head. I guess that’s not describing it well, but considering that you are reading my blog, you probably know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m really loving all of the characters so far, as well as all the seiyu work. Eriko and Kai have me quite entertained in particular, as it makes me feel like I’m watching Zombie Loan or Rozen Maiden again. Haha. Mamiko Noto made her entrance in this episode, and I’ll have to say that her role was much more fitting than her one in Clannad this season. The new tsundere character and Nana’s friend who were introduced in this episode weren’t as interesting, but I’m sure they’ll fit into their roles for the series. Kai’s sax playing almost made me feel like I was watching Nodame Cantabile again, and Mao’s promise to help Kouichi almost made me scared of a School Days ending. Haha, yea….I hope we don’t even get close to that. I’m still loving all the music, especially how the ED comes in just like it does in Nodame Cantabile and Honey and Clover. I can’t wait to see how everything develops from here on out.

Totali: If people call you a sucker, then you’re not the only one because I like this kinda show too. I watched the first episode twice, and I hope this episode will be a good one too. can’t wait for the sub.

I have to admit this show does have its moments. So who’s the main character I thought that Kouichi would get the first kiss.lol

Well so far, to me it seems that this show has predetermined couples already, so I hope there really will not be any love polygons. I kind of have a mix feeling though. Having an ending where (if possible) everyone ends up happy with a partner certainly would be nice, but I sort of hope that there would still be at least a tiny bit of drama, since usually a dose of it always keeps me interested and gripped until the next episode. However, I do not think this show will stoop to the level of School Days that was so mind-numbingly draining. XD

kenshin514 > Haha, yes! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The next episode looks even better.

Sniper > Apparrently the main character from the game has been split in the anime. Well, that’s the word going around. I’ve been seeing Kouichi as the main character, though the focus was shifted to Kazuki a lot in this episode.

Halcyon > Yea, right now it doesn’t seem like there will be many twists. Hey, Honey and Clover and Nodame Cantabile didn’t either. I’m perfectly fine with that. lol School Days….let me make it clear…that was 100% joking! xD

Dude, the head is not the place where fluttering feelings are meant to take place :)
