Hmmm...I want him to end up with Miyako (I got Chihiro and her mixed up for a second.) because Kei and Chihiro seem like a pair and it would be terrible to seperate them (see Shuffle's Nerine and Sia or Tabatha and Kirche) and Yuko doesn't stand much of a chance in my eyes. So if he ends up with Miyako I'll be totally happy. He probably will so I won't worry.

Orihime > I didn't catch that, but it sounds like a typical Shaft move. Don't think too hard about it xD. Yea, Hiro will probably end up with Miyako....I just think of Sola when I look at that triangle....

Mike > Shinbo may not be directing, but he is still supervising. His style still seems to be taking its place, but the overall flow of directing is quite different. I've watched just about all Shaft has done xP......

Sniper > Looking around the blogsphere, the subs aren't coming out that late. Besides, this is probably the most dialog driven show out this season. It makes sense that it can't be super speed subbed. Well, that and the fact that it isn't exactly the most popular either.

To me, this has "Shinbo" written all over it even though he's technically not the director. The style is so idiosyncratically similar to that of "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei," which Shinbo directed; it's even got many of the same kinds of shots of eyes, color choices, and the like. Or is that a style SHAFT has come to adopt as a studio as a whole? (Shaft's done mediocre work as well as strikingly original shows like the two I just mentioned.)

hashihime > Yea, I actually think about that when I write my reviews. I can definitely see where you're coming from. For example, Shinbo's directing would be much different from Oonuma's.....it's just that when it comes to production, I tend to just generalize them as a team. Or maybe I'm just too lazy to look specific names up lol. I guess I'm just far off from being able to name specific names in a production team off the top of my head. x)

kenshin514 > Oh, and let there be lots of drama! There's gonna be a lot! ;P

Love your review -- and agree with just about all of it. Awesome show, so far, and getting awesomer. But it does bother me when you say "Shaft" did this or that. I know they provide the animators, etc., but individual people were responsible for various aspects of the show. It was directed by Oonuma Shin (Negima?! specials), under the general supervision of Shinbou Akiyuki (Tsukiyomi, PaniPoni, Negima, etc.). The original game was by minori, and it was adapted for anime by Takayama Katsuhiko, who adapted Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora and was series story editor for KgNE. When you see those names, I think they show better where the excellences of the show come from than just saying "Shaft." Anyway, sorry, this is just one of my hobby-horses.
