Shakugan no Shana 2 – 10

Kini naru……kini naru…

Summary:

When Yuuji sees the color of his flame, he remembers that the Tomogara Margery is after also emitted a silver flame. Shana warns Yuuji not to use his power until they can find out more about it, and Yuuji remains troubled that night. A man watches as Chigusa bids Yuuji off the next morning, and Yuuji discovers from Matake that Konoe is not feeling well when they stop by her house. Inside, Konoe’s servant walks up to her. They both have silver bracelets around their wrists. Konoe arrives at school while decisions for the upcoming festival are taking place, so everyone explains to her how their school’s stands out from the rest. After receiving Konoe’s agreement to participate, drawing continues to decide roles in an act. Yuuji has already been decided to be Romeo, and it becomes a challenge for one of three girls to be Juliet. Kazumi is decided as Juliet, but she does not seem as happy as she would have been before. Shana also notices that she is not as flustered as she would have been in the past, as there is something more. Yuuji wonders if Shana will be alright by being seperated from him for the first time during a festival, but she simply reminds Yuuji to play his role. Meanwhile, a man continues to wait by the Sakai household. In another part of the world, Wilhelmina meets Khamsin once again.

Chigusa is helping with preparations for the festival, so Kazumi and Shana go to meet her. When Chigusa mentions that Yuuji does not fit the role of Romeo, the girls begin discussing the story of Romeo and Juliet. This leads to another love conversation, which Shana takes deeply into her heart. As the girls leave the house, Shana notices that someone is following them. She has Kazumi follow her movements until they can hide themselves, but the girls then decide to find out what the man is up to. Coincidentally, Yuuji and the girls run into the man at the same time. Shana beats him down, but she becomes surprised to find that he is Yuuji’s father. Yuuji’s father properly introduces himself as Sakai Kantaro inside his house while he discusses his odd habits. When the girls stay over for dinner, they find that Yuuji’s parents married when they were still students. Kantaro talks with Kazumi and Shana outside, and explains how he got together with Chigusa. He then tells the girls that if they want to become close to someone, the first thing to do is to let out their hands. Wilhelmina discovers from Khamsin that Pheles is alive, and she panics after hearing the details of her plans.

Preview: Shana decides to take a shower instead of a bath. …Oh yea, and Wilhelmina tells Yuuji about Pheles. Chiii~~~~

Impression:

What is love!? Oh my god, I thought the Days of Our Lives arc was over! To be honest, I completely forgot about Konoe after these past few weeks. It was like, “Why is Yuuji meeting up with Matake? ….Oh yea.” So yet again, I ended up having lots of laughs at this show when I wasn’t suppose to. I hope some of you got the Zetsubou jokes, because Kantaro was totally stalking those cute lolis. Luckily, Shana and Kazumi had learned the buddy system, resulting in a beating for the offender. They’ve got such a great gurl power vibe going on. BFF! I was on the floor when Chigusa and Kantaro started giving Shana and Kazumi more love advice. They writers must be doing this on purpose, because there’s no way I can take that seriously. Khamsin, the kid whose scars make him look like an old man, finally makes a return as well. That makes me kinda happy, cause I thought he was pretty cool in the first season. I laughed at Wilhelmina’s surprised face at the end of the episode too. So, SnS keeps its place as a love comedy this time. Next week might be a bit different (doubt it).

That dad is creepy as hell, and Shana and Kazumi totally ditched out of helping with the festival preparation.

More Shana for everyone lol, but I don’t think Yuuji will ever be more helpful than for moral support even with all the training. But thats just how its meant to be.

Kabitzin: He just has interesting “hobbies”. Also, LOL I also thought that about Kazumi and Shana. Slackers!

TokiDoki: Yuji’s always been that normal guy with the smarts to help Shana. Too bad he’s also dumb in so many ways. xD I dunno, I’m kind of looking forward to seeing more of his powers.
