Eita in a lion suit? Matake would hit it.

Summary:

Kantaro greets Chigusa in the morning, but he is surprised to find that Yuuji will not be eating breakfast with them. Chigusa explains that he has already left to school, as preparations for the upcoming festival are being made. While helping to move things, Yuuji cannot stop thinking about his flame color being silver. Eita wonders to Keisaku if Margery will come to the festival, but they decide that it is impossible after remembering her uninterested drunken state. Shana refuses her friends’ help while working on things, as her mind is still on the things Chigusa and Kantaro told her. Shana and Kazumi both sigh when they see girls having trouble on projects, and they smile to each other after noticing this. The lion suit that some of the girls have been working on is forced onto Eita, making Matake lose a bit of her composure. The usual group notices that Ike has overexerted himself at lunch, so he recalls how a girl named Fujita dragged him all over campus. Ike’s liveliness is brought back when Kazumi offers him some sandwiches, but he is once again pulled away by Fujita before he has the chance to eat one. Everyone sees Konoe off at the end of the day, finding that she cannot stay with them. After some fun time in the showers, the girls prepare to sleep. Shana and Kazumi stay up a bit longer, and both cheerfully declare to each other that they will not lose.

The next day, Shana thinks about Kazumi’s statement that she and Yuuji have always been fighting together. Yuuji appears to help her with work, and as they put up pictures of different locations, Shana remembers the battles she has had with Yuuji in each place. When some of the girls reveal Kazumi’s finished dress, everyone becomes amazed at Konoe’s sudden recital of some of Romeo’s lines. While Shana thinks about her situation on the school rooftop later, Wilhelmina returns behind her. Shana brings Yuuji to Wilhelmina that night, and she explains her findings about Pheles to him. Pheles had planned to live forever with a person named Johan, and the connection was called an engage link. Further more, Pheles is alive, and is probably searching for the Reiji Maigo in Yuuji’s body. When Yuuji and Shana mention the silver color of Yuuji’s flame, Wilhelmina cannot believe that it is possible. Preparations are completed for the festival the next day, so the students can only wait for its start. On the way home, Yuuji recalls that Shana suspected of Wilhelmina hiding one thing from them the previous night. Although Yuuji is worried about what will happen next, his confidence is assured with some of Shana’s encouragement. Above the two, Wilhelmina expresses that Pheles is the one person that she would not want to fight. Elsewhere, gusts of wind are created by someone calling out for Johan.

Impression:

Poor Ike. He’s the only hope left that can break Yuuji’s unneeded harem, but he’s now too busy being dragged around by some chick. Up until the second half, this episode was a total waste of time. There were some funny parts like Matake checking out Eita in his lion suit and the “Dacky”, but for the most part, it all seemed like an attempt to shove more of SnS’s poor excuse for a romance anime at us. Yes, Shana and Kazumi refuse to lose to each other, but Yuuji will end up with Shana anyways. We get it already! I also love how they had a completely random chick inserted just so that they could have someone grabbing Shana and Kazumi’s boobs in the shower. The pictures thing was actually a pretty nice touch, but I’m sure we’ve got enough subtle recap already. I also wish Hecate would shut up already.

I would have probably forgotten what kind of anime this was suppose to be if i didn’t actually sit through the OP today. We finally got somewhere with Wilhelmina’s return, and the approach of Pheles is pretty exciting. As much as Wilhelmina doesn’t want to fight Pheles, I really want to see it. Speaking of Wilhelmina, who does she think she is? Flying around like she’s Neo and stuff… Pheles’ seiyu seems to be Inoue Marina (Kana’s seiyu in Minami-ke), so I’m very ready to parody that. It’s almost as bad as Fujiwara Keiji playing Kentaro. Next week has everyone being silly in the school festival, so it looks like I’ll be making fun of SnS till the end of time.
