I actually felt it wasn’t gonna get anywhere, and gave up following the show, halfway through the entire series… looking at the novel didn’t help either, as it further strengthened the fact that it was not gonna get any better =[

I still like Reika though, and Ninomiya-kun for that matter XD

Sorry for the late replies…but it took me awhile to get myself to even come back to this show.

Di Gi Kazune: I….I don’t get it!!!

Phia: Looked like a harem ending to me. Mayu finally kissed Ninomiya, but otherwise, everything is about the same from the beginning.

Gravmech: LOL well…..you’ll have to settle I guess. xD

panda: Again, you had to have no expectations for the show to appreciate the show…and no, if there is a second series it will be a train wreck. >x3

Siva: See, everyone is only appreciating this show because it’s “not as bad as this show” or they have to think that it’s “not that bad”. T.T

Halcyon: They should have just taken everything out of this show bur Reika…then it would have been better. If they had a spinoff about Reika’s corporate adventures…I’d watch it. (half joking)

Ravage: But why should you have to have low expectations for a show to enjoy it? I mean I can watch these shows, but to call them good is another thing…the bad production for one thing will never get out of my head. (is that an arm or a blob i see there….?)

Meh, it’s just a matter of what you expect from a show and if said show can meet up to those expectations.
I had pretty much 0 expectation for Ninomiya-kun, but I found it an enjoyable show to watch, where on the other hand I had big expectations for Ef, which was somewhat of a disappointment to me.

WOW….You just helped me point out a bigvanimation inconsistency in this episode.The first shot of the two has Mikihiko with a suit on and only Ryoko’s neck showing. Next shot has them both naked

I agree with everything Totali said.
This was the show I was looking forward for this season.
But by the 3rd or 4th episode. I relaized that this was in vain.

The show was incredibly predictable. The funniest parts were the prologue episode stories (doujin Reika, Reika becoming a empress, Hinako)

well said and done totali i really felt high hopes for this show when you previewed it and while it was the only love comedy/ harem show to watch for the season, i am a sucker for love comedies like you. love comedies was the first anime ive ever gotten into when i started watching anime. fanservice was the only good point but if there is gonna be a second season, i would jump in for the train wreck. its so bad its kinda good feeling.

wait i never got the point when ryoko and mikihiko were in the ferris wheel naked. that was a big twist in the end to me and also weird. (did anyone see that coming?)

Well, I actually enjoyed the series.It was mindless fun and that in itself is a refreshing break.Also, I think majority of anime adapted from light novels suffer greatly in translation . At least its a short series.

And so, the torment is over. Like many others, I did not expect much from the show after watching the first few episodes (apart from the hawt Reika, of course) so I came to enjoy the show as form of mindless fun and fan service.

However, I do wish they had made Reika as the only main heroine though. Even at the end, I still don’t think Mayu was that interesting of a character, nor Ninomiya for that matter. >:(
