Shakugan no Shana 2 – 13

I AM BOSS.

Summary:

Those at the festival frantically run at the sight of the enormous twister that has appeared. As Pheles approaches Yuuji, Shana and Alastor panic. When Pheles starts attempting to take the Reiji Maigo out of Yuuji’s body, his body reacts and the silver flame is once again revealed. Margery exclaims that she has finally found what she has always been looking for, quickly transforming. She starts to fly in rage, but Wilhelmina stops her. In the meantime, Shana interrupts Pheles just in time. Pushing Yuuji away, Shana is hardly able to defend against Pheles. Eita and Keisaku help Kazumi out of the current wreckage inside the fuzetsu, revealing the meaning behind the silver flame. Keisaku notices that Pheles’ flame is not silver, but rather the gold one nearby. Although he realizes that the silver flame belongs to Yuuji, he does not reveal this to the other two. Eita starts approaching Margery to stop her, but he screams at the sight of Matake getting caught in the damage. Keisaku attempts to convince Eita that it will be alright since they are in the fuzetsu, while realizing that he again cannot do anything. Unable to see what she is fighting against anymore, Margery sends attacks towards Yuuji without hesitation. Pairing up to stop the two monstrosities, Shana and Wilhelmina are able to stop Margery and Pheles in their tracks. Shana expresses her wish to talk with the two, as Eita and Keisaku do their best to make Margery aware of what she has done. When Margery finally calms down, she wonders what Yuuji is. He replies by saying that he would like to know this the most. Margery sends flames towards him, but he remains unharmed as she walks away.

Wilhelmina has also calmed Pheles, as she asks her why she called Yuuji’s Reiji Maigo Johan. Pheles reveals that Johan had been sealed within the Hogu in order to save his life. The Hogu had disappeared after the procedure, but Pheles continued to search for it until the current day. Wilhelmina explains the situation they have with Yuuji’s Reji Maigo, and asks for Pheles to cooperate with them. Yuuji wonders about the engage link member within himself, as Kazumi realizes that Yuuji becomes distant at times like this. Pheles is taken to Margery by Wilhelmina, and she takes the chance to reveal how strange Yuuji’s Reiji Maigo is acting. The silver flame should not be emitting from it. Margery realizes that predictions from the past have proved themselves, then volunteering to repair the area. With Yuuji’s help, she returns the entire area back to the way it was. After the festivities finally end as scheduled, Yuuji wonders to Kazumi if she is okay. Kazumi states that she is fine, wishing to share experiences with Yuuji. When Matake approaches Eita, he turns around to embrace her in tears and gladness. Yuuji and Kazumi praise Shana for her award, and she returns by complimenting Kazumi as well. Inside the school building, Pheles and Konoe say something.

Preview: Pheles is Wilhelmina’s little baby.

Impression:

Holy. Crap. This week’s Shana was freaking amazing. It only took 13 episodes! All hell broke lose with the fights in the first half, and I cannot even express how awesome it was to see everyone in battle. Wilhelmina in particular had me squealing in glee, and seeing Shana pair up with her to take down the giant bear and Pheles was spectacular. Hearing Inoue Marina as Pheles wasn’t as funny as I was hoping to make it out to be, but it was probably because of the sheer joy I was experiencing. I was kind of surprised that the fight ended so soon though, especially after the huge build up we had beforehand. Wilhelmina never ceases to amaze me with her motherly powers, and seeing her magic work on Pheles was just too great in the second half. Even Eita’s overdramatic reaction towards Matake made me smile, just to top it all off. I really don’t know what else I can say that isn’t totally irrational about this episode. With further complications brought up, it looks like things will slow down for awhile in the next episode. That’s ok, I’m more than ready to see Wilhelmina do her magic.

Oh, it’s getting good now ?? Maybe I should consider to pick it up again. Then again, I’m like 6 episodes behind. Haha =)

Ah, I’ve been waiting for this ep… wonder when I’ll get a chance to watch… what was that like, a 12 episode buildup to the start of this… O_o

No wonder they made us wait 2 weeks!

  4. [...] and hot bod. Still not quite used to Inoue Marina’s voice though I’m not quite sure why Totali expected it to be funny (funny as in ‘weird’ or ‘LOL’?). [Also see Aroduc [...]

So we went from frolicing in the school with lolis to bondage battles with maids… Even though this sounds awesome i still find this show not being able to pull of the quality of the first few episodes of the first season that initially pulled me to watch this series.

Wilhelminas magic that your talking about:

Margery and Whilhemina have been doing naughty things together!

Hinano is missing all the good stuff now. :3

kenshin514: They should have like….just started the season here or something.

Ryan A : Seriously! Not only that, but we had to wait like 3 weeks because of delays! At least it didn’t disappoint.

Zakarum: It was all a freaking conspiracy.

Dularc: LOL someone else who couldn’t help but parody Wilhelmina’s awesomeness in this episode! I spammed most blogs who covered this episode so far with silliness too.

Di Gi Kazune: A Margery in bondage is fine too.

    This was a epic episode.
    My COPYPASTE from another forum

The ending had me crying alittle…..That has not happened to me in a while…
Particularly what made me cry was Eita seeing Oga get harmed in the Fuzetsu and then crying after met her in the second half. It was really well done.

I’m looking forward to more Pheles. She seems like a nice character. I see that she’s intended to be a sympathetic character.
Marcosias…I was really surprised that he tried to calm Margery down. He’s definitely a character with two different sides.

AND YEAH GOOD FIGHTS THIS EP.

Ufufufufu. As I had foreseen. This is getting more and more exciting.

    What an adrenaline rush.

JC Staff never ceased to keep me entertained. Huhuhuhu. And I already knew about the Silver… something’s big gonna be up and high for Yuuji.

Let’s keep rooting for this, peeps.

I wonder what Johan is doing in there. Does he at least get to see what Yuuji sees? Does he ogle Yuuji’s classmates? So many disturbing questions left unanswered…

Avisch: You think your copy paste works here???? Well….you’re right. That’s definitely an expected reaction from just having watched this episode, haha!!! I dunno if the Eita/Matake scene was that touching, but I definitely loved it. Agh…if they could have had episodes like this until just now…

The Flame Wizard: They had to have something going on for Yuuji…since he’s like the main character LOL. But yea….I’m hoping this all means for a jump in development…none of that sad excuse for a love drama we’ve been having until now.

Kabitzin: …………..that’s entering territory they probably don’t want you considering…….unless it’s for a Shanatan omake.
