I just finished this series and I have to say that Shigofumi is one of my favorite anime series.
It was really touching, deep yet dark at times.
The animation and writing also greatly impressed me,
being able to captivate my attention and move me at the same time.
Overall I really enjoyed Shigofumi and I hope others will give it a chance as well.

I especially loved the scene when the little sister from episode 1 threw the ball to the little girl from ep 10, just like how her sister did for her. Shigofumi was a great ride; Mika easily became one of my favorite characters. Even though I agree the end is a little bit forced, it still managed to make me cry. I hope there will be more of this kind of genre, it has been a long since I watched a good slice-of-life.

Well, so Haruno is being conjugal with that rat bastard Kirameki after all, eh? Oh well, I can't say this is one of my favorite series as well, but I didn't think it was as bad as some people make it out to be. I think it would have been much better if they had at least one more episode. At least they actually wrapped it up nicely this time around.
