Summary:

When a limousine arrives at the school and a red carpet rolls out, the students are amazed at the entrance of Tenjoin Saki. The boy’s looks are soon shifted to Lala, however, as she runs by in her usual energetic manner. Saki has a girl named Fujisaki Aya tell her who Lala is, then reassuring herself that she is the school’s number one. Throughout the day, however, Saki becomes agitated when the boys around take notice of Lala rather than her. While Rito and Lala sit in class later, a challenge is sent towards Lala by Saki’s followers. All of the boys gather outside as the news is spread throughout the school, and Saki reveals the bathing suit she has for the competition there. Zastin meanwhile worries that the challenge sent deals with assassins that have snuck into the school, but Lala is sure that she will be okay. When Saki learns that Lala has a fiance later, she comes up with a plan. Rito goes outside after hearing the news about Saki, but he is soon captured as part of Saki’s plan. Saki threatens to take Rito from Lala as Aya uses a crane to move Rito closer to her, but Lala appears just in time to change the situation.

While Rito scolds Lala on the way home, Aya overhears him talking about Lala’s secret. When she reports this, Saki becomes further confident that she will get revenge on Lala. Saki and her followers arrive at Rito’s house later while Lala and Mikan are in the bath. Due to Zastin’s security, however, they are quickly drawn away. Rito is alarmed when Lala walks around in just a towel as usual, so she is sent to her room to change. Saki has also arrived in Lala’s room during her escape from the house traps, so she quickly takes the chance to learn more about Lala. When she accidentally presses a button, however, the room lifts up into the air. Saki finally reveals herself, but Lala is unable to find the controls to bring the room back to the ground. Zastin’s attempts to save Lala fail as well, and Saki eventually falls out at a very high distance in the air. Lala jumps out to save Saki in her suit, but Saki faints soon after realizing this. When Saki wakes, she fines that she is naked and in the middle of the street. With this, she again sends out her challenge towards Lala.

Preview: Aliens invade the school.

Impression:

Ya, this is way late. Just as soon as I’m freed from school, I find out I’ll be working long hours right away. So much for my celebration! But anyways, this episode was pretty entertaining and definitely met my expectations from last week. Saki is the typical oujosama that most people love, played by none other than Kawasumi Ayako. She definitely played the role well and naturally, but I’m still attached to her role as Hime from Kaibutsu Oujo. As far as the actual plot for the episode, well, there really wasn’t much of one. This was the typical outrageous challenge sent out by the school’s previous number one idol followed by……a room being sent to space. Yup, that’s ToLove-Ru alright. Besides the main attractions and fanservice, Zastin was pretty funny too. It’s hilarious seeing him eating all the time, and his control panel looked like it came straight out of a bad Sunrise anime. I hope you’re ready for more tentacle rape in the next episode!

I love that whoever designed the room to go into space didn’t foresee about the easily opened doors… orz

There is a surprisingly larger amount of tentacles than I was expecting for the show really…

Loli fanservice now? Sure, fuck, why not? The first time I laid eyes on Rito’s little sister, I said to myself “I’m pretty sure I’ll see her in some form of undress in the near future.”

Sigh…..bunch of filler crap. Why can’t they just stick to the manga stuff. Well, at least next episode will cover most of manga material.

Knowing what I know from the manga, 4chan is going to love the next episode. *shakes head in shame*

More like the manga is full of (crap) fillers to begin with. Adding more makes no difference.

I have to disagree with aurabolt on this one. Yes, I agree that very single chapter in the manga has bunch of fan-service stuff. The storyline is too predictable and even stupid sometime but I really enjoy the manga version a lot. I mean, at least, the storyline is moving little by little in the manga. They are not crap. Otherwise, I won’t read 95 chapters of manga in one day and still reading it until this day. Bottomline, I still disappointed in anime version but I still gonna keep watch. Haruna FTW !!!
