Summary:

Lala finds that Rito is being slow to get ready for school in the morning, so she uses a magnet device to pull him to her. This causes a very awkward situation for Haruna, however, resulting in another slap in the face for Rito. Run appears soon after, wishing to give Rito another kiss. This is followed by Saki’s entrance, ready for a challenge for Lala. After all of this, a girl named Kotegawa Yui introduces herself. She expresses her distaste in the current events, putting most of the blame on Rito. Yui soon finds that most of the girls are not listening to her, however, when Run suddenly sneezes. With this, Ren reappears to make the situation even more awkward.

During class, Yui continues to see Rito as the cause of all the school’s atmosphere changes. She soon gathers a council to change the school’s policies, resulting in many changes to its regulations. One day while a group of girls discusses the length of their skirts, Lala decides to help by using another one of her devices. When Yui attempts to stop Lala from bringing such items to school, however, it takes effect on her. As Lala’s magnet device appears as well, an awkward situation is caused between Rito and Yui. With this being the last straw, Yui seeks out the principal to take action.

Later, Rito finds that he is forced to stay in an empty classroom by himself. As he is isolated, Yui believes the problems at school would be solved. However, some of the boys only see this as a chance to get closer to Lala. As Saki brings up another challenge for Lala later, Yui realizes that nothing has changed with Rito gone. Watching as a depressed Rito goes home, Yui starts to feel as if she would regret if she was mistaken. Throughout the afternoon, Yui watches as Rito preforms good deeds throughout town. When Yui sees Rito attempting to help a young girl find her mother, she decides to help. Meanwhile, realizing that Rito is feeling down, Lala comes up with a plan. Gathering with her friends, Lala decides to hold a party to brighten Rito’s mood. The girls wonder if he is allowed to talk to girls outside of school, or if they would even be able to find him at the moment, but Lala does not believe this is a problem.

After Rito and Yui find the young girl’s mother, they start to walk home together. Looking at Rito, Yui feels her heart thump a bit. Yui finally takes the chance to apologize to Rito, taking the sign off of him and telling him of her mistakes. Rito is surprised to hear what Yui thought of him, but even more worried about the strange feeling he has. As Lala’s magnet is pulling at him again, Rito ends up running while carrying Yui all the way to Lala. Of course, Lala and the others believe that Rito and Yui have finally gotten along when they see them together. When Rito and Lala get in another embarrassing situation at school later, however, things return to the way they were before.

Preview: …..What?

Impression:

Another student council type appears! Would that be the best way to describe Yui? Either way, this episode was hilarious. It definitely redeemed this show for me after last week’s rather mediocre episode. As typical as it was, I loved Yui’s actions towards isolating Rito. The awkward situations were repetitive, but I actually laughed at them every time. Even better was Yui’s starting to gain feelings for Rito towards the end of the episode. Love power! Rito did end up looking like a spineless wimp though…and a pedo. What’s new? The movie was pretty funny too. It was even worse than engrish! Also, at this point, I don’t even know what to think about Lala’s friends. Are they surprised about Lala’s strange devices or not? Haruna and Yui pass out, but if it was me, I’d be like “Dude, wtf?” Next week looks more episodic, but hopefully it will surprise me. It looks like the principal will be failing hard as usual though.

Awww…..man. They didn’t make Yui as cute as the one in the manga. She looks so much better in the manga version. Yui shouldn’t have a feeling for Rito that easily. It took her like 40 chapters for Yui to start have feeling for Rito in the manga. Oh well, at least, this episode is not as bas as the last one. Wait until Yami appear, Totali. She will make your jaw drops with her moe/loli appearance XD.

Lala’s friends all think that the inventions she makes are all high-tech from the other “country” she came from. It’s pretty weird that they all accepted her tail to as a fashion trend…lol
