Summary:

While running through the city, Mubyo is caught by a wire from the raccoon-like yokai. Losing one of her shoes and having one of her puppets transform, however, she is quickly able to escape. While at practice, Noboru is told by one of his friends about the fireworks they will be attending during the night. Of course, Sakura is concerned about this in the distance. Ko attempts to pick up a 50 yen coin when she sees it outside the Takagami household, but it leads her the yokai from earlier. When Noboru arrives home, he is shocked to find that the yokai is inside his home. The yokai reveals that the Hashihime had directed him here, however, making Tenko express that he probably isn’t that dangerous of a person. The yokai properly introduces himself as Fukuro, soon bringing up his concern with the Sakasaen. In the meantime, Sakura has trouble deciding on her clothes again. When her sister sees this, she brings up her usual advice.

Fukuro reveals that the Sakasaen is not actually Mubyo’s, but his. He asks for Tenko in assisting him in finding Mubyo and retrieving it, and because of Toru’s wishes and her own eating of the cookies that Fukuro offered, she ends up having to. Meanwhile, Mubyo sits alone at a park, becoming concerned after seeing a mother praise her child not too far away. Although Fukuro and Toru accompany Tenko through the city, she is forced to do all of the asking around in the city. Meanwhile, Ko asks to accompany Noboru to the event he will be attending. Tenko finally becomes annoyed with Fukuro once they reach Ebisu’s shrine, so she prepares to fight him. Mubyo almost throws away the Sakasaen elsewhere, but she stops herself after realizing what she is doing.

The boys are quickly interested in Ko when she arrives at the school with Noboru, and Noboru is surprised when he sees Sakura appear in a yukata. He compliments her appearance, and even blushes when Sakura turns to thank him. Tenko and Fukuro engage in battle, both seemingly gaining the upper hand at different points, but Ebisu soon appears in attempt to stop them. While Noboru enjoys himself with the boys at school, Sakura takes the chance to ask Ko what Noboru talks about at home. Ko’s attention is quickly brought to a group of men that have been drinking too much, however, who she actually ends up healing. As a thanks to her, one of the men offers a drink to Ko. She unknowingly selects a beer, however, quickly becoming drunk after drinking it.

Ebisu continues his attempt to stop Tenko and Fukuro from fighting, because he does not wish for them to interrupt the neighborhood’s electricity. This happens anyways, however, making him extremely angry. As all three begin to fight, he surrounding area continues to be destroyed. Mubyo meets Toru in the meantime, asking him who he believes is the true owner of the Sakasaen. Although Toru is unable to tell Mubyo who he believes is telling the truth, he agrees to accompany Mubyo to search for her supposedly lost contact. After several blows, Tenko and the others finally agree to stop fighting. Tenko and Ebisu are shocked, however, when they see the face under Fukuro’s mask. In fact, it appears as if it is Mubyo.

Preview: More battle, and a drunk Ko.

Impression:

So what’s hotter, traps or straight up gender bend?? This episode continued the Mubyo/Sakasaen arc, with a bit of action and even some awesome school activities. Watching Ko in this episode was just too awesome. Not only did she look really silly chasing after money at the end of a string, but her getting drunk was the start of all kinds of awesome. But isn’t Hayami Saori under age?? I guess it’s a good thing this is just an anime role! As fun as watching Tenko and the others travel around town was, it looks like new developments are quickly being introduced with Fukuro’s mask off. Two Mubyo’s? Who’s the real one, and who is the true holder of the Sakasaen? The show is doing a good job at making us feel conflicted about which side to take, and I’m personally hoping that the one meeting with Toru isn’t as bad as she secretly seems to be. I guess we’ll just have to find out in the continuation next week, along with some awesome drunk miko.

In other news, the ED single finally came out. I’ve been listening to it non stop. I’m also getting really excited for Sekirei next season, as Hayami Saori will be playing one of the main roles. I guess the fanboying won’t be stopping anytime soon!

No one is evil in this anime. at least no one that insidious had showed up in the novels yet.

oh they are are few surprises along the way and potential bad guys. But the day normally ends mostly on a happy note. i mean the saddest thing you are likely to see in this entire series is whats going to happen to Tooru in one of the future arcs. Almost made me shed manly tears after reading that. that arc Is also what i most want to see animated in the future.

    Bondage! More BoNDaGE~!

Lack of commenting is due to lack of stuff to comment on and recent Star Wars Lego chewing up too much time.
