Regarding this particular show... I had high expectations for it as I have read up to volume 6 of its light novel associate. And although filled with every imaginable cliche, somehow I've enjoyed it.

Obviously not the type of show to engage with one's mind, but the anime considerably changed how the two 'met' and the events leading up to the building of an actual relationship. This may be done in order to skip ahead in time to condense the series into a 14 episoder w/ possible subsequent seasons, but I don't like how it was executed. Look at SHnY and you'd know how important it is to get the characters introduced correctly. It's a fair comparison as both light novel series have garnered huge fanbases in Asia.

And what's with all of them being shiny? Honestly when's the last time someone's leg reflected that much light... ridiculous even for a harem anime.

Well, having seen the episode, I'm not pleased with the main character. I was hoping for more of a "Oh HO HO HO HO" tsuntsun type of ojou-sama when I read the premise. Instead, we get the super cute and polite main girl. :( This show exists to serve fanboys. I'll watch some moar.

This is the one show I've been excited for (this season).

"I like how some of it is presented, like with the magazine going through a Photoshop type program at the start."

Same here. I really liked that part, it was unique.
On the episode itself. It met my expectations and that was good. The way the episode opened was interesting and took it's time, which I thought was nice and simple.

Don't blog it if it's too difficult.

On my "otaku-level". I don;t consider myself an otaku. Despite the fact that I think about anime alot. But I put it off more to my obsessive love of stories.

I know what you mean man. There is a difference between liking anime and trying to make it your "image." Those kind of people are the ones who decide "I am an otaku!" then they say "Now I gotta start watching anime." haha.
