OP: “Issei no Koe (一斉の声)” by Shūhei Kita – The song is like soft pop/rock. It’s not something I would usually listen to, but it was pretty fitting for this OP. I’m not extremely impressed with the animation, since it’s kind of plain, but there’s nothing particularly bad about it either. Read more

OP: “YOU’RE THE ONE” by ICHIKO – To be honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of ICHIKO’s music. I’ve always though ZnT’s OPs were pretty standard too. OP: “fly away” by THYME – It’s funny that this band is also doing the OP for To Love-Ru. THYME is a fairly new group, but most of the stuff they’ve come out with is pretty catchy. The animation seems fitting for the series, and I’m certainly liking it. Read more

Sekirei – 01

OP: “Sekirei (セキレイ)” by Saori Hayami, Marina Inoue, Kana Hanazawa, and Aya Endo – The animation is kind of standard, but it’s definitely pleasing to look at. The song is done by four of the main seiyu, with their distinct voices easily recognizable. Read more
