I hope it isn't to spoilerish to say "no" to Yano.

Did anyone else get even more freaked out by those pictures of Yoite tied up?

Does the manga have the whole "Miharu locked in a room with a bed and a camera" thing...? I haven't been able to buy volume 9 yet, so the things taking place in the anime are all new to me....

"Here's a locked room with no doorknob, a bed, and a video camera. Oh and that food in the fridge has aphrodisiac in it. Have fun Miharu. We'll be watching."

The manga has plenty of MiharuxYoite mush but it's much more bearable, because it includes (gasp) character development and about 10x less emo. The anime? Generic blatant angst for the fangirls with no substance at all. Hattori's background was just laughable. Though I laughed at Sewer Yoite more.

I know the Mangaka has stated she was a fan of Ninja Scroll and Naruto.

I don't think I have ever appreciated a manga as much as this one, however.

Frankly, while the anime IS stupid, I don't think the manga is much better. At least the anime is not exclusively about Yoite and Miharu pseudo-BL mush and wangst like the manga has been recently.
