To be honest, I thought it was just all the character’s bankai/release animated and then jumbled together followed by a few explosions….

Kusaka was killed in the Soul Society, and his soul was transferred to Hueco Mundo, or at least that’s what I believe to have happened. After being reincarnated there, possibly as a hollow/arrancar, he sought his revenge, and to have it he needed the King’s Seal, for some reason… apparently Hyourinmaru wasn’t powerful enough for him.

It was the Hōgyoku that Aizen wanted in the main storyline. The item that dissolves the barrier between a soul reaper and a hollow. ^_^

All in all, I’d say that I really enjoyed this movie. ‘Course, I’m a Hitsugaya Taicho fan, so I’m a little biased. ^_^

Haha, yeah, the fights were certainly more entertaining in the second movie, but the ending ruined it all. I don’t know, that was just too over the top. Well, about Toushirou…the background story…not my favorite.

Man, I just wish Bleach anime was as good as Bleach manga. It is unfortunate how the animators ruin the characters.

I liked the villains of this second movie more than the first one, that’s for sure. I don’t see what Kusaka has to complain about. He becomes a powerful Arrancar, has Toushiro’s zanpaktou, AND he manages to pick up cute twin Arrancar chicks to do his every bidding. Toushiro did him a favor there, ha. There were still some slow parts (a problem I had with the first film) but it was very cool seeing most everyone going bankai toward the end.

The thing with the King’s Seal did make me scratch my head though; isn’t that the thing that Aizen wanted from the main Bleach storyline (or was that some other King doohickey)? Weird that they’d have some throwaway villain like Kusaka end up going after it. It probably won’t affect the manga or the main arc any though, seeing how neatly everything gets wrapped up at the end.

really enjoyed this film, had more fights den da first one which wer nice 2 watch.
^ i don’t get hw kusaka came back 2 life either

ichigo sounds like a douche in this film especially when he jumped down from da senkai gate and shouted “stoooop” sounded so gay lol

I still don’t understand how Kusaka came back to life, or what exactly the KIng’s Seal does; I swear he said the King’s Seal brought him back to life, and then he was raised in Hueco Mundo or something, but who brought him back to life in the first place?
