Staff having assembled a dream team. Given that effort, I doubt they truly intended to stick with just one 13-episode season. Nevertheless, the series bombed in Japan, so I'm not optimistic about the chances of a sequel. (AFAIK, the novels focus on standalone letter-delivery tales, much like half of the anime episodes. I'm not very familiar with the novels, so I don't even know if the story goes past this, but can there be another season? An OVA is good too, but if they can contrive two too many seasons of Hell Girl, why do we have to wait around for more Shigofumi?
