I really enjoyed this episode. I’m with everyone when I say this series needs to be released faster… but one has to admit, its pretty much been worth the wait so far. Darn those androids for looking too human and on top of that, being too darned cute as well xD.

Isaac Asimov was the first one to write the ‘Three Laws of Robotics’ in his stories. Many scifi genre have been inspire/borrow from this idea ever since. I doubt the anime has anything to do with the movie let alone the books or the short stories… you should read more.

Like a lot of science fiction, this series is only borrowing the laws to use in its own story. The anime has little do with the novel or popular movie otherwise.

Usually, when I havent seen the episodes all I do is glance at the screencaps and read the author’s Impressions. So yes, I havent seen this show yet, but I noticed that the three laws you wrote are the same as the ones in I, Robot with Will Smith. Is the anime based on the same novel as the movie?

One of the few rare times I’ve watched an Anime in it’s RAW format (since I don’t understand much Japanese) The Scene where Rikuo realizes it is Sammy right in front of him was indeed awesome even if I couldn’t understand what was said exactly. I can’t wait for subs so i can rewatch and see what it was Nagi and Sammy were talking about. It’s too bad episodes are only coming out once in a blue moon.
