I’m pretty sure everyone sounded like they were being played by their original voice actors. It could have just been the way they were projecting their voices. There are times that I will watch one series, and after the sequel appears a few years later, the characters’ voices will sound slightly different despite being played by the same VA.

Hey, is it just me or does some of the voices of the characters doesn’t sound right? I mean when I was watching the second part and Matoi was speaking I felt it wasn’t the same voice and also when Kiri was responding to Nozomu her voice was definitely different from the voice in the past seasons.
