A few episodes back during the date with Yuu/Yuuko/Nagi there were two images that struck me. When the three were talking, Nagi stood with the town as a backdrop, nice and normal. Meanwhile Yuuko stood in a image that mirrored Nagi's, but with a town that looked like it had been ravaged and bombed out. Consequently, I was expecting Yuuko's past to be harsh, but I wasn't expecting this. Well played by Shaft.

Anyone noticed how Himura was blinking after every line he said about having a future as long as you're alive? I wondered why Yuuko criticized him as being naive. It hit me when she told him his habit of blinking when lying. Then it hit me that he was lying when saying she still had a future as long as she was alive, and she knew that he was lying. So he was saying things that he himself couldn't fully believe, so it's no wonder that she criticized him for saying such things and expecting her to believe it.

shes not dead...noOoooOOOOoooo......... But it is a possibility though..
Hmmm, im sure Yuuko and Yuu cannot be together and thats why in Season 1, they are separated. But hopefully in the end they will be. ^^

Lolz @ Divine
divine is a blogger in randomc right? I like to read his summaries, too bad he quit. But I can see he is very concern to the correct and appropriate summary of these episodes... haha. T_T @Yuuko. She lost it, but she finally let it all out. All the burden, agony and sufferings that she hid inside of her for so long. I guess she feel a little bit better now. EF THE BEST WTF...

I don't think it's a spoiler to say so, but sadly enough, I think Yuuko is currently dead. Or something along those lines.

The big BIG question now, given how things are leading into the eventual present, is... Who is Yuuko really? Especially in the context of her mysterious comings and goings in the first season, and in the 'present' of this one.

@divine: NOOOoooooOOOOOoooooo summary police!!!!

I'm pretty sure Yuuko said that to Yuu in the beginning of the episode. I just happened to insert it lower in the summary because it made more sense in the time frame. Feel free to correct me if I'm still wrong though. (I typically only write from memory.) :S

As far as skimming over conversations, yes, I almost always do this. A summary to me is just what it is - a summary, and this blog has been more impression focused since the second or third season I have been blogging.

I'll make any corrections I need to, as promised, when I get through with my major projects this week though. :3

Watched it--easily the best episode. Its thirteen episode length also has to do it, but I like how SHAFT dished it out all at once. Sudden cuts to silence, the trembling text, the voice change at the end, and the creepy eyes made it even more impacting.

Even Yuu's expressions carried this moment to great heights above that in the original visual novel. He wasn't nearly as horrified (so it seemed to me) as in the anime.

Hmm, I don't think Yuuko said this:
"When Yuu walks into the church with Yuuko, she strips as she asks for him to have intercourse with her."

Might want to double-check on that.

Also, you seem to have glossed over Nagi's feelings for Yuu.

Well we all knew Akira was crazy so I'm not too suprised what he did to Yuuko. As for Yuuko, her eyes scared the crap out of me! As for the next episode I am sure they will put more effort in to the Kuze/Muzuki story.

ahaha....... I just realized that the reason why they will end quickly the past story of Yuuko and Yuu because they want to focus on Kuze and Mizuki's story cause as we can see in the present,Yuu and Yuuko already cleared all the messy things that happened in their past. I rewatched the last episode of ef memories especially the part when they reunite and it seems like Yuu made Yuuko wait for several years after the episode 5 of ef melodies for him to clear his mind and accept Yuuko. So what if shes not a virgin? is it really a big deal? Haha.... my dendrites is really working this time!!!!
