Yeah, the story didn't go anywhere, but at least this episode had plenty of funny moments. At the same time, it's following the manga pretty closely. I'm assuming the show will eventually investigate M's cross-dressing, her/his possible feelings for Kanako, the possible curing of K's rash, &, of course, the eventual romance (altho' maybe that won't occur). Right now, I think the writers are enjoying the insanity of gender bender/rich/evil Maria too much to follow a plot. I agree that the anime feels like it isn’t moving forward plot-wise.
