I think this episode was sort of nice since it was pretty simple and flowed straightforward. However, in terms of the story itself...not that good.

I miss seeing the people go through an actual hell.

In my opinion, this episode was one of the worst in mitsuganae, if not the worst: The plot for this episode is neither striking nor touching; though it is just too funny to watch the characters calling Jigoku Shoujo for stupid reasons.
Poor Emna Ai, she has to be annoyed by all these pubescent teen-girls who cannot deal with their pseudo-hard worries x_X
I'm sorry for the Hell Girl...

Erm if history repeats itself then we're going to have a nice little confronting conclusion unfold within the remaining episodes. Haven't watched the episode yet, but yeah it sounds silly only because the story looks superficial and unbelievable. But aren't most of the episodes like that also, people using jigoku tsushin to solve trivial problems that seem to dictate their lives? It isnt feasible for a simple problem to dictate a larger than life theme save for revenge through the season. So im not surprised that this episode would be any different. Just wish there was more of Yuzuki; after ep 13 she seems to be some dead shell the writers reluctantly move like a pawn; she also ends up doing much less than Hajime and Tsugumi, but then shes only a girl with no transport lol. Waiting in anticipation of better things to come after the next ep.

Jigoku shoujo has so much potential as far as story line is concerned. I really feel that this season has a lot of possibilities, and I wish they were able to combine the 'new story for each episode' approach with a good and well developed story that continues throughout the season. I feel they would have much more success this way, and viewers would definitely continue watching. It really is a little disappointing... I like Yuzuki and I want to see more of her, and her doing more. She doesn't seem to try all that hard, and it's irritating.
Last season we saw the return of Tsugumi, but only for a few seconds. That was a real let down... And confused me too. I hope this season does better with its story line *crosses fingers*

I also saw this episode, it wasn't anything special. 19 looks like real let down too... >_>

20 should be fun though, because it may be the return of you know who. lol
