Marimite is good anime but could’ve been better, all 4 seasons is good but not great, as they miss many stuff from novel but 4th season was… A LOT IS MISSING since they only focus 4th season’s story about Yumi and Touko’s relationship, so it really went quick for me(not draggy at all)btw missing stuff from novel briefly mentioned on previews on each episodes.

sachiko is good and awesome but she is not the protagonist, maria sama ga miteru is about yumi afterall, this season was about yumi and her feelings towards touko
1 and 3 season have a lot of sachikoXyumi, a lottt,
not get me wrong, i love that couple, but we have seen so much. the thing with yumi and touko is cute and thats why a lot of people liked this season a lot more like others

I totally agree with Drocr. I mean c’mon Sachiko is the most interesting character of the series. She and Yumi go so well together I was kind of hoping they’ll develop their relationship at the begining of the season but it wasn’t meant to happen We’ll se in the fifth one.

NEEDS MOAR SACHIKO x YUMI.

Yep, that’s the only thing that really ticks me off… don’t get me wrong… Yumi and Touko are okay but wth… MORE Sachiko please. She is a great character and perfect for Yumi. I hope to god they get together at the end of this series.

They skipped all the non red rose stuff from the last 5 novels or so, pretty much focused on Yumi and Touko, too bad.

I waited half the season for the last 5 seconds… THE LAST FIVE SECONDS!! At least Yumi finally caught herself a Touko, and at the very least we get some OVAs comming up I’d rank this season below 1 and 3, but well above season 2. The massive flood of DERE comming out of Touko this episode was a tad extreme, but it was also awesome to see her finally opening up. I’m lookin forward to season 5!!

I was actually partial to Kanako before this season, but I never hated Touko.

This season did make me a bigger Yumi fan over Sachiko though, which is kind of ironic.

I loved this season. I thought it might have been the best since season one, and much more enjoyable than season three. Sure it was slow, but that gave time for feeling people’s emotions more deeply. And the apotheosis of Touko turning from my most hated to a newly beloved character was a trip.

Anyways, I feel kinda sorry for taking my time in watching this season. It was certainly a letdown from the last season. Pretty much forgot a lot of what happened in the past episodes. Hell, I don’t even know if they even did any of those “Maria-sama ni wa naisho” bits for this season.
