Summary:

Ikuto and Suzu finally arrive on Kiryu’s island, with Ayane not far behind. Ayane decides to have her own wishes fulfilled, so she rushes into Kiryu’s chamber. She gets sucked into the water while she is there, but she stops herself with a rope like object. This turns out to be one of Kiryu’s whiskers, which she accidentally breaks off. With this, the three of them are forced to leave the island without Kiryu’s blessing. While Ayane reunites with the rest of the girls, Machi sees Ikuto attempting to leave the island anyways. Suzu tries to go with Ikuto, but he will not allow her to be in danger. The rest of the girls arrive to the shore in an attempt to stop Ikuto, but Suzu blocks the way.

Suzu decides that, after all, she cannot leave Ikuto. With Sashimi’s help, she goes after him. Expressing her wish to be with him, Suzu reaches out to Ikuto. This is in vain, as Ikuto is lost in a whirlpool. The girls find Suzu unconscious on the shore, but she soon rushes back off to get Kiryu’s help. Suzu is also sucked into the water while trying to pray to Kiryu, but she is saved by the girls. They all gather to pray for Ikuto’s safety, while Ayane returns Kiryu’s lost whisker. Elsewhere, the lords of the island express to each other that, in reality, they all wished for Ikuto’s safety.

Ikuto wakes up in the middle of the ocean, with a bit of Machi’s help. Swimming to the surface, he finds himself in a very clear area of the water. A boat suddenly approaches, carrying his sister and several men. Expressing that she is fine, Misaki tells Ikuto how she found herself on an island full of men. Mentioning how fun it is, Misaki invites Ikuto to come with her. Ikuto declines, as there is someone waiting for him on his own island. With this, he rushes back towards Airantou with a boat provided by Misaki’s guy friends. Suzu is overjoyed when she finds Ikuto on the island shore the next day, and Obaba revives the competition for Ikuto before he can get comfortable.

ED: As a welcome back for Ikuto, all of the island’s girls chase after him at full speed. All is well in Airantou.

Impression:

Wow, what an ending. An island full of guys!? That would be a nightmare. Let’s be realistic. If there was only one girl on an island full of men, it wouldn’t go that smoothly. I found it really funny that Misaki’s situation mirrored Ikuto’s though, and I’m assuming that those were all the men who used to be on Airantou. I’m just glad we got to see Ikuto’s sister! The dramatic feel of the episode felt a bit out of place, however, and it really just felt like it should have been in another anime. All of the characters pretty much went “cool” mode in their support for Ikuto. I loved how Tonkatsu prayed! Even Sashimi played her part, helping Suzu reach out to Ikuto. I really loved the insert song as well, and I can probably say that I honestly liked this finale. Can it save the series? Probably not. Let’s leave that for the final impression…up next!

Nagasarete Airantou could quite possibly be considered one of the biggest disappointments of the season for me. Funny enough, this was actually the love comedy I was looking forward to the most before the season started. I picked it up for some good humor and some Yui Horie, and I got little of both. Well, maybe I did get a bit of the later, but it just got old. Granted that the series was not suppose to have an extremely heavy plot, Nagasarete Airantou’s story was quite pointless. This wouldn’t have bothered me if it was actually entertaining, but many of the episodes were just a drag to watch. It was just hard to be interested in a bunch of animals, and the late character introductions just seemed worthless in the end. This is a series that I might have rated higher if I marathoned it in one go, but it would have still been labeled as “just another love comedy” by me. Really, I only continued to blog this because my Wenesdays were free.

This isn’t to say that Airantou did not have any good points to it at all. Some of the episodes were actually quite good (see: junkorpunchor). Later along in the series, I saw that this show was not suppose to be the laugh out loud series I was expecting it to be. If you watch this show purely for the pointless atmosphere of living on Airantou, it is actually a decent watch. I know that sounds bad, but that’s really the feeling it gives off. By the end, I actually felt a bit attached to Ikuto and Suzu, and I could really say that I was glad everything went well. Hey, this series could have been considered a necessary watch to me as a fan of love comedies, but there are much better fish in the sea….and they’re not on Airantou.

Summary:

Deciding to face Kiryu, Ikuto gets the map to his location from Obaba. She warns him of the trials that await him, but he is determined to see his sister. While on their way, Ikuto and Suzu notice that they both did not get any sleep the previous night. Ikuto was worried about his sister, and Suzu was worried about Ikuto leaving the island. Unknown to the two, the rest of the girls have been following them. Suzu runs towards daifuku that has been layed out, until she and Ikuto find themselves in a large maze. This is all according to Chikage’s plan, but Rin has put up maps to the exit in pity for the two. Ayane confronts Ikuto and Suzu after opening the final door for them, but they walk right past her. Chikage unleashes a large boulder towards the maze, but Ikuto and Suzu are saved by the Tiger. This results in the girls getting smashed instead.

Tiger reveals that he cannot let Ikuto get to Kiryu, as this is the true duty of the island’s four protectors. He begins to attack Ikuto, but he is soon stopped by tripping over Mei Mei. She and Toono have arrived to help Ikuto, in payback for what he has done for them. While the two face Tiger, Ikuto and Suzu hurry on to find the Panda in their way next. Panda has been bribed with food by Machi, so he also begins to attack Ikuto. Shinobu suddenly appears to block his blow, and she also begins fighting for her master Ikuto. Next, Ikuto finds that even Suzu’s master cannot let them through. Suzu insists that it is her turn to help Ikuto, even if it is against her own master. Suzu seemingly catches him, but finds that it is an impostor. Many copies surround Ikuto and Suzu, but Ikuto eventually catches the real one by realizing that his second tail would move a certain way.

Walking up a snowy area, the two open a door to find a key. However, this is soon taken by Kararage. Ikuto finally learns that he is none other than the fourth lord, which puts him in shock. Kararage throws Ikuto a sword, before engaging combat with him. Things start to look bad for Ikuto, but Suzu blocks one of Karage’s attacks with her own body. Ikuto prepares to fight once again after hearing Suzu’s words, and this time he pulls off a technique to successfully defeat Kararage. While taking the boat to Kiryu’s island, Ikuto tells Suzu that Kararage probably did not want him to lose, which is why he threw him a sword in the beginning of the fight. Underneat them is Ayane, who is still not ready to give up.

Impression:

This week’s episode was sweet! This isn’t even coming from my want to defend this show. It was actually that good. The one thing I will say is that it seems like they took this entire series’ production value and put it in these last episodes. The animation quality was excellent for this episode, and I mean excellent. I’m just not sure if that will make up for the rest of the series at this point. The girls’ intervention was not as annoying as usual, and the real bulk of this episode was spent on the fights. I never thought I’d get so excited about Ikuto fighting a chicken. Tonkatsu also got a bit of screen time which always makes me happy. Wasn’t his snow suit awesome? This really reminds me of the last few episodes of Sumomo mo Momo mo, where the last episodes were spent on some major fight. I’m actually really looking forward to the last encounter next week, and Airantou will finally end soon afterwards.

Summary:

Ikuto has begun helping around the village with his own strength, and the villagers take note of this. Suzu thinks to herself that he may need some help from her soon, as she finds a bottle washed up on shore. Suzu takes this to Ikuto, and he quickly notices that it is the message in a bottle that he sent to his sister, Misaki. Finding that she might have been in danger, Ikuto quickly rushes out of the house to find away to leave the island. His boat ride out doesn’t work as usual, so he gets attached to a kite and has Suzu guide him. This doesn’t work out too well, as Ikuto remembers that he is afraid of heights. The rest of the girls see him while he is in the air, so they all go down to help him. They prepare a giant slingshot to launch him off, but they soon realize that this method will not work.

Machi has her own ways of helping Ikuto, but she proposes that Ikuto must marry her in exchange. Through her chanting, Ikuto’s soul begins floating out of his body. However, the rest of the girls quickly put an end to this. Chikage’s idea is put into action next, and she summons the genie once again for Ikuto. The genie annoyingly gives Ikuto trouble, and in the end his wish is not granted. The girls get rowdy with Ikuto as usual, but Suzu shouts for them to stop. She tells them that this isn’t the time to do such things, because Ikuto will disappear from the island if he is reunited with his sister. Ikuto chases her as she runs out, passing by Obaba along the way.

Obaba meets with Suzu, as she expresses her selfish feelings and sadness towards Ikuto’s leaving. Obaba tells her that there is one way for Ikuto to leave the island, though this will have to do with Suzu’s feelings. After thinking by herself for a long while, Suzu finally shows herself to Ikuto at the house. She tells Ikuto that there is a way for him to leave the island, just as he arrived. He was brought there by a storm that only shows itself once every hundred years, but Obaba appears to describe a rain calling song to them. To prove its effectiveness, Toono appears to have water flowing out of his head. There is however, one condition that must be met for Ikuto to leave. He must meet with someone named Kiryu-sama first.

Impression:

With the climax of Nagasarete Airantou coming around the corner, it looks like we finally know where the production quality has been going. The animation was much better in this episode than it was an any of the previous, and the insert song was a very nice touch. Just as the previous episode suggested, Ikuto has finally gotten word from his sister from the message in a bottle. The kappa song and mention of Kiryu-sama are all hinting towards Ikuto’s leaving of the island. Even Suzu is preparing to give him up. Really, I doubt they will have an ending with Ikuto leaving Suzu but they are doing a fairly good job to get to that point of the story. I’m hoping for a good set of final episodes. I really want to see Misaki at least once.

Summary:

Ikuto walks up to Suzu while she is organizing vegetables, and she faints from thinking too much. Suzu notices that Ikuto has been leaving home alone recently, and this is because he is a teacher at the island’s school. The other villagers teach subjects there as well, but Suzu has always refused to go. One day, the students and teachers in class come up with a plan to have Suzu come to school. Ikuto takes her on a long route to somewhere unknown, while the rest of the villages try a little to hard to seem natural. After going through a long set of detours and falling into a trap, Ikuto and Suzu end up in Chikage’s study. Suzu won’t be educated so easily, so she quickly runs out.

Rin, Mikoto, and Yukino attempt to stop her, but Suzu easily passes them. Suzu lands on Ikuto on her way down from a jump, and walks away after seemingly knocking him out. However, Ikuto was only pretending. He grabs hold of Suzu’s foot, and gives her a lot of tickling. Suzu expresses how mean it is for Ikuto to try and force her to do something she didn’t like, but Ikuto tells her of his experiences on the island. With all the hardships he went through, he could go on because of Suzu. Suzu finally decides to go to school, which pleases all of the villagers there. Suzu finally learns to enjoy school, and Ikuto rewards her with daifuku when they get home. Suzu expresses that while Ikuto has been leaving without her recently, she has felt like he has disappeared from her. They laugh this off, but Ikuto then looks into the distance where a letter in a bottle drifts in the water.

Impression:

Well this was another typical Airantou episode, but I’ve noticed a few positive points about it after being without it for two weeks. Although I would definitely call it a love comedy, the show isn’t really meant to be the funniest show around. This anime kind of gives off that “feel good” feeling that cartoons are always known for. It’s just kind of fun to experience what is going around on the island, as pointless as it is. Everyone has been busy bashing this show, and I’m guilty of this too, but I’m still trying to give it a chance. It’s not as if I can’t stand the show, considering that I’m almost at the point of finishing coverage of it.

I kind of missed Yui Horie’s voice, and it was pretty funny to see how dumb Suzu was in this episode. We also saw a bit of Ikuto’s more aggressive side. It’s funny that both of the two main seiyus also play in Tokyo Majin in the same season. Honesty, hearing Ikuto’s voice makes me want to watch that show. A usual complaint that I have about this episode was the random cutting in and out of audio. I’ve studied and done video editing in the past, but it doesn’t take an expert to see how poorly done it is. Suzu and Ikuto have been getting along well as usual, but I’m afraid that they seem to be giving off more of a “brother and sister” feeling. Hopefully their relationship will advance with the last few episodes at least a little bit. Seeing the message in the bottle not extremely far from the shore has me slightly interested, and it makes me wonder what Ikuto plans to do about his sister who hasn’t seen him for so long.

Summary:

While transferring supplies home one night with Kuma Kuma and Inu Inu, Yukino comes across a glowing blue feather. When the morning comes, Suzu walks outside to find Ikuto practicing his swordsmanship. She mentions that it would be good if he could go home soon, before excusing herself to wash her face. At the river, Suzu thinks that she was actually being selfish, and wanted to stay with Ikuto forever. Shortly after, Yukino appears to alert Suzu of her discovery. If they found the legendary blue bird from which the feather fell from, they could have their wishes granted. Ikuto finds that Suzu has gone with Yukino to search for the feather, so he goes with Tonkatsu and a friendly bunny to find fire wood instead. While doing this, he unthinkingly asks Suzu for some help, but realizes that she isn’t there. Suzu starts a conversation about the legend with Yukino and her friends, but she becomes shocked after hearing that they only see the legend as a children’s story. They hear something in the bushes shortly after, and they look past it to see a small blue bird. They don’t believe that this is the bird they are looking for, but Yukino starts chasing after it anyways because it is cute. While chasing after it, the crew falls into a pit in the ground. They find that it is impossible to climb out, so their only hope is to wait for help to arrive. Meanwhile, Ikuto and Kagami become worried because Suzu and Yukino haven’t came back after so long. Of course, Ikuto and the animals decide to search for them.

Yukino and her friends start despairing because they are hungry and they don’t believe they will be found, but Suzu brings out food and assures them that Ikuto will find them. Yukino expresses how amazing Suzu is and talks about all of her good qualities, but Suzu doesn’t think this is true at all. It starts pouring rain, which makes everyone panic because the scent will be lost for Ikuto to search with. However, the mystical blue bird shows itself to Ikuto just in time. Ikuto follows this, until the finally finds Suzu and the others. While Ikuto starts helping them, the mystical bird is revealed to be the dull looking one that Yukino chased after earlier. The rest of the villagers gather together to help Suzu and the others get out, and they all leave until only Ikuto and Suzu are left. Ikuto starts heading home too, but he finds that Suzu has an injury. This angers him, not because of what Suzu did, but because she wouldn’t tell him about the injury. Suzu starts shedding tears of happiness as Ikuto offers a ride on his back. While carrying her, Ikuto thinks to himself that Suzu isn’t the strong person everyone thinks she is. He states that she only does her best, when she is actually a very lonely person. Because of this, he wants to become stronger for her. Suzu expresses that Ikuto also believes that Ikuto is an important part of her family, and Ikuto hopes that the times can always stay the way they are. Suzu agrees, as she lays her head on Ikuto’s shoulders.

Impression:

The animation was really lacking again, and a dog yelling out Iku Iku over and over again doesn’t exactly rub off on me well. Yukino also seemed very out of character at some points of this episode, and where did Suzu hide all of that fruit!? With that out of the way, I actually liked this episode a lot! It seems like everyone else is too busy flaming the episode, and I usually would too, but come on. It was Ikuto x Suzu! LOVE POWER!! The last couple lines of the episode with Ikuto carrying Suzu were really great. I almost shiku shiku-ed. Although you could say that the blue bird actually got Yukino and Suzu into all the trouble in the first place, I thought it was a pretty nice touch. Maybe I’m just a sucker for really pretty and mystical scenes. Tonkatsu also got a lot of screen time in this episode, and he’s like my favorite character. So yea, that was pretty win. With only a couple of episodes left, I’m not expecting anything special, but hopefully this show can surpass some of our expectations.

Summary:

While hiding from Ayane, Machi comes across a small statue. After accidentally breaking the seal, a small raccoon appears. It seemingly humiliates Machi, so she prepares to go after it. Elsewhere, Ikuto and Suzu are having bad luck with fishing. Suzu mentions that it might be impossible to catch any, which makes Ikuto go into a rage as usual. Suzu prepares to have such lunch, and Ikuto reveals that he has caught a very large amount of fish. The fish and Suzu’s daifuku disappear, so Machi appears to warn them of what is happening. Tonkatsu is also impersonated, before the three start going after the raccoon. Machi, Ikuto, and Suzu travel throughout town, while trying to find the reveal the raccoon’s identity. It impersonates almost everyone, while the three try to identify it in various ways. At the end of the day, Suzu mentions that it might be impossible to catch the raccoon. Seeing that Ikuto is not reacting to this at all, she successfully finds that he is the raccoon in disguise. Machi seals it back into its rock form, but she and Ayane still decide to go after Ikuto. Machi pushes Ayane to the side so that she can have Ikuto for herself, but this causes the raccoon to be released once again.

Impression:

Wow, the animation was horrible in this episode. This is the first time I’ve noticed it being so bad. Also, I probably only cracked a smile once during this entire episode. I liked Rin’s scene but that was about it. I wouldn’t usually mind such a pointless episode, but it just wasn’t even funny this time around. No development, bad animation, and not being funny makes for a very bad experience. With only a few episodes left, it really makes me wonder why they would give us a story like this. Please don’t tell me that Suzu figuring out that Ikuto was a fake because he didn’t react to “zettai muri” was suppose to be the highlight of the episode, because we could have figured that out from episode one. I don’t want to hear “zettai muri” or see that dumb racoon anymore at all after this.

Summary:

In the past when Chikage’s mother and father met in the library, her father told her mother that he liked mysteries. Back to the present time, the Beniyasha reveals that he disguised himself as Ikuto and used something to make Ayane itchy all over. He has the antidote, but he will not hand it over unless Ikuto can catch him. As Ikuto and Sakuya go after him, the girls come up with a plan to see who Ikuto likes the most. They decide that after sending him a letter, he will enter the room of the person he likes the most. However, when the girls enter their separate rooms, some of them get caught in different traps by the Beniyasha. Others are too distracted by themselves as usual. Suzu seemingly gets approached by Ikuto in her room, but Ikuto shows up afterwards to reveal that it is the Beniyasha in disguise. Ikuto follows him to the roof for a final face off, and falls off the roof from trying to catch the antidotes. Sakuya manages to break Ikuto’s fall (kind of), but the Beniyasha is able to get away again. Later, Ikuto finds that Chikage and her mother are selling new stories that seem to be based on the events that happened during their trip.

Impression:

I actually found this episode pretty enjoyable again, just because it was so random. Watching the girls get caught in the various situations was pretty funny, and there were plenty of misleading scenes. I think I probably liked Yukino’s the best, and Suzu facing two Ikuto’s reminded me of a lot of older anime with the same concept. Watching Mei Mei act differently from usual was also pretty nice, and I even laughed at little things like Ikuto actually having tissues in his nose after nose bleeding. The plot itself was very predictable, but I guess it was kind of fun to continue on from the last episode for a change. What’s up with Chikage’s mom being a ninja?

Summary:

As Ikuto reads through some mystery novels in Chikage’s library, he mentions that he has not heard of the author before. Chikage tells him that it is because the author was someone from the island, though no one knows the person’s identity. Ikuto is also introduced to Chikage’s mother for the first time. Noticing that Ikuto is late at home, Suzu thinks she sees a figure standing outside the door. Tonkantsu rushes out to defend Suzu, but they find that it is just a laundry hanger. However, there is an invitation below it. Ikuto, Suzu, and Mei Mei head out the next day because they have all received invitations to the hot springs run by a girl named Sakuya. When Ikuto sees Sakuya, he believes that she is an ordinary girl. However, her head falls off when she bows, and Sakuya reveals that she is a robot. Inside, the rest of the girls are taking their baths and waiting for Ikuto. Ikuto refuses Suzu’s offer to go into the bath with everyone else, and has tea with Sakuya instead. Chikage suggests a plan to bring Ikuto into the hot springs to the girls, but when she meets Ikuto she starts telling him of a mysterious being on the island. The girls become exhausted from being in the bath so long, so they spend their time cooling off afterwards. Everyone eventually hears a noise outside, so they go outside to investigate. Seeing a dark figure approach from the woods, Sakuya transforms to defend everyone. However, it turns out that the figure was only Shinobu who lost her way to the springs. Ikuto finally decides to take a bath, so he excuses himself. Seeing that everyone else is too exhausted to get back into the bath, Ayane decides to go after him. She quickly undresses and approaches who she thinks is Ikuto in the bath, but the a masked figure turns to her. She lets off a scream, which causes Sakuya and Ikuto to search for her. After hearing another scream from Ikuto, Sakuya enters the bath to find Ayane covered in blood. However, it is just because of Ikuto’s usual nosebleed. After recovering, Ayane expresses how mean it was for Ikuto to trick her like that, but Ikuto tells her that it wasn’t him. Above the three, a masked figure looks down upon them.

OP: Just like Mei Mei, Shinobu got added to the opening in a few places. The two have also been in the ED for awhile, but I didn’t feel like bothering for one screenshot.

Impression:

I knew exactly what was coming as soon as I saw Ayane’s bloody body, but it still made me laugh. I actually enjoyed this episode, even though it wasn’t extremely funny. Seeing that almost every anime I am currently watching has taken their trip to the hot springs or the pool this week, I was wondering how Airantou was going to do it. I almost thought that they couldn’t have a hot springs on the island. Ha, silly me. This show now gets it’s approval from me for being a real love comedy. Sakuya was a fairly interesting character. She is the cliched polite type but….she’s a robot. I don’t know what’s up with the masked person or why Chikage is acting all suspicious, but I guess we’ll see next episode. Unfortunately, I’m not in extreme suspense or anything. How could I be? On another note, Tonkatsu was awesome in this episode. He defended Suzu from that laundry like no other pig could have. “Get em Tokatsu!!”

Summary:

After receiving a letter from Mikoto, Ikuto and Suzu find her sister Shinobu. Because she hasn’t eaten in a long time during her trip home, Ikuto and Suzu have her eat with them in their house. Having never seen Ikuto before, Shinobu guesses that he must be the boy that all of the animals have been telling her about. Imagining that he is extremely powerful, Shinobu challenges him to a sword duel. Ikuto constantly refuses, even though she will not stop pestering him until he accepts. Suzu is bothered by Shinobu taking Ikuto’s attention, and she snaps when she finds her lying on top of Ikuto in the bath. After being convinced by an angry Suzu, Ikuto finally agrees to Shinobu’s challenge. After getting some training from Karage, Ikuto meets Shinobu who is wearing some clothes from Chikage’s selection. The two seem to be evenly matched, until Shinobu decides to use a special move against Ikuto. Ikuto takes out all of Shinobu’s duplicate images, but he does not think he can block her final attack. When he accidentally grabs her boobs, Shinobu claims defeat. Ikuto denies that his boob grabbing was any kind of special move, but Shinobu says that it made her feel as if she could not fight anymore. Ikuto and Suzu see Shinobu off as she leaves, but they find that she is moving in very close to them the next day.

Impression:

Funny. Didn’t I mention that there should be some new characters like last week? I must be psychic. I wasn’t really that into Shinobu’s character when she was first introduced. The whole “Gozaru” thing is kind of annoying, and I didn’t really like it in Negima either. She did become somewhat interesting towards the second half of the episode though, after she was done stalking Ikuto. Call me crazy, but I actually found the nosebleed thing kind of funny this time. Suzu’s jealously is something that should be getting old too, but I wasn’t too bothered by it either. The fight was a pretty random plot device, but I think I laughed out loud after hearing “bushin no jutsu”. Wow, that brought back bad memories. It looks like there will just be more antics now that Shinobu has moved in so close to Ikuto. I hope they just aren’t throwing these characters in for shallow reasons. Mei Mei has already lost her major role after two or three episodes. Ah, what am I saying? Of course they’re doing that. Hopefully they can at least give us some decent episodes until the end.

Summary:

Panako attempts to get a lazy Chikage to clean her room, but she would rather not. She trips on a book when tries to sneak out, and finds a magic book. With it, she releases a large amount of light into the village at night. The next morning, Suzu and Ikuto wake up to find that they have gained animal features. After heading outside, they find that everyone in the village has changed. Humans have turned into animals and vise versa. They eventually run into Chikage, and find that she is responsible for all of it. With Ayane’s help, they begin searching through Chikage’s room for ways to stop her. After accidentally coming across a magic book, a genie appears to will grant any of their wishes. They have him capture Chikage, but Chikage just has him release her afterwards, because he will grant anyone’s wish. When the genie mentions that there is only one wish left, everyone struggles to take it. Machi shows up and simply wishes for a cup of tea, which panics everyone. Chikage claims that her magic is enough, and she captures everyone. However, the beautiful blonde that Ikuto and Suzu saw earlier, Panako, shows up and attacks Chikage as usual. With this, everyone in the villiage is restored. When Ikuto wakes up from passing out at home, he expresses his belief that everything that happened was a dream.

Impression:

I really don’t know what to think of this show anymore. For the most part it’s been mediocre, and the only reason I started blogging it was because of Yui Horie. We have gotten a few good episodes in the past few weeks, but recently it’s kind of been a drag. I had a few chuckles throughout this episode, but there wasn’t anything hilarious. I’m sure a lot of people will appreciate Suzu going “nyann~” and it was kind of interesting to see what the animals’ counterparts would be like. Panako turns out to be a bejin and we find out Toono is a girl. Other than that, there wasn’t much of a plot, and Ikuto’s hardheadedness is getting kind of old. If I wanted fanservice, I would watch Umisho. I hope we can get some more fun episodes soon. I’ve heard that there may be a few more new characters, so maybe that will give the show the boost it needs.
